Obama Denies Ties To Fannie May Chief

Campaign accepted more than $400k from Fannie May

image Some things just don't pass the 'smell test' and here's one of them.

Today the Obama campaign put out a statement from former head of Fannie May Franklin Raines that he is not an "advisor" to the Obama campaign.

This simply stated, doesn't pass the 'smell test.'

The Obama camp has taken more than $400,000 in campaign contributions from Fannie May.  Franklin Raines is now the disgraced former CEO of Fannie May.

Perhaps you remember Fannie May?  That's the Mortage financier that went belly-up earlier this week and required a government bailout to survive.  Franklin Raines is the CEO who literally ran Fannie May into the ground and received a golden parachute, to the tune of more than $10,000,000 dollars in "severance" as he exited the company when the U.S. Treasury Dept. assumed control.

Not only did Raines get a golden parachute, reports are that he LIED to Government officials as to the status of assets on Fannie May's books.

So we have two questions for the Obama Campaign:

1. When are you going to give back the corrupt money that Fannie May gave to your campaign?  Since the American taxpayers are bailing out Fannie May, isn't that really taxpayer money that Obama's clinging on to?

2. What role does Jamie Gorelic have in the Obama Campaign?  Gorelic received more than $26 million dollars in compensation from Fannie May in 2007/2008.  Our readers may remember Gorelic as the woman who issued the legal opinion in the Clinton Administration that put the "Chinese Wall" up between the FBI and CIA - prohibiting them from sharing information about domestic and foreign terrorist organizations.  Gorelic's "legal opinion" is widely assigned as one of the reasons Osama Bin Laden and his al-Qaeda operatives were able to successfully operate and train in flight schools in this country, while preparing for the Sept. 11th 2001 terrorist attacks that killed more than 3,000 people in the WTC, the Pentagon and on Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

While we await the Obama campaign's response, we can't help but think that this is the kind of "change" that Obama wants to inflict on this country.

NoBama.  No way.
