World Leaders Denounce Iran Vote Fraud While Obama Remains Silent

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." John F. Kennedy

Governments world-wide have been expressing their concern about the violence that erupted last weekend after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s now blatantly obvious fraudulent re-election.

Yet while the Obama Administration has been cowardly in its attempts to avoid taking sides in the election other world leaders have spoken out.

For example, French President Nikolas Sarkozy said the unrest in Iran was a direct result of Ahmadinejad’s failings in his first term.  “The extent of the fraud is proportional to the violent reaction” Sarkozy said.

“If Adhmadinejad has really made the progress he claimed since the last election, and if he really represents two-thirds of the electorate then why has this violence erupted?” he went on to say.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown  questioned the validity of the elections saying answers were needed and that the violence in Iran threatened Iran’s international standing.

“The regime must address the serious questions that have been asked about the conduct of the Iranian elections” said Brown, adding “The way the regime responds to legitimate protests will have implications for Iran’s relationships with the rest of the world in the future.”

Such clarity demonstrated by Sarkozy and Brown is missing from the Obama administration, which has only demonstrated foot in mouth disease by stating “the United States does not want to be seen as meddling in Iranian affairs” which was then followed up by Obama’s statement that “there is no difference between Mousavi and Ahmadinejad.”

The reason Obama cannot see the difference between Mousavi and Ahmadinejad is because he and Ahmadinejad are in many ways mirror reflections of each other.  Both have strong desires to minimize their political opponents and squelch political debate.

Compare Ahmadinejad’s actions in stealing the elections under cover of the Mullah’s in Iran to Obama’s appointments of political “Czars” and his ‘rationale of “I won the election” in shutting out his political opponents from the legislative process.  Both are two sides of the same coin.

Much the same way Jimmy Carter was responsible for being the “American Father of the Iranian Revolution” Obama’s inaction and refusal to speak out in favor of those protesting  will seal the fates of those Iranian’s who have struggled to get out from under the brutal control of Iran’s Mullah’s for the last three decades.

Obama’s weakness in foreign affairs makes his Presidency a friend to despots and dictators world-wide, and Ahmadinejad knows this.  This is the real tragedy of the Obama administration.

While Obama will not say it, American’s across the United States support Iran’s struggle for freedom.

Today we are all Iranians.

Our False Prophet appears to have no idea what a golden opportunity he’s passing up… overthrow this evil regime without firing a single shot… get their Armageddon-inspired nuke program off the world stage… and free 30 million people all at one time.

But the boy wonder is too stupid to see it… or somehow just doesn’t care?

And isn’t this what George W Bush told you was going to happen in the Middle East in the wake of Iraq’s liberation?
Maybe that’s why Barack Obama has so little apparent interest in finishing the job in Iran… no matter how much it benefits the US and free world.

That, and the fact that he’s already piled all his chips on legitimizing this vile regime- a democratic revolution at this point would be embarrassing.
