The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has confirmed that Swine Flu has entered the United States, and has confirmed 20 cases in 5 states. "Confirmed" means that the CDC has taken blood from each suspected swine flu case, and has found the virus present. The states are:
- California, 7 confirmed cases
- Kansas, 2 confirmed cases
- New York City, 8 confirmed cases in a public school
- Ohio, 1 case
- Texas, 2 cases
While the CDC has confirmed that swine flu has indeed spread to the United States, what is Herr President Obama doing?
Golfing.
While South Korea and Japan are screening flights coming from the U.S. and Mexico, what is the United States doing?
Well, our President, allegedly the smartest man on the planet, the savior of our world, is golfing.
Are we shutting down our borders with Mexico? No.
How about testing those coming across the border? No. According to DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, we're not testing anyone coming across the border from Mexico. I guess perhaps someone carrying a potentially fatal virus with them isn't considered a right wing extremist or terrorist in her opinion.
This administration is doing nothing to stop the spread of swine flu into the United States of America.
Not even a potential of a pandemic can get this inept, bumbling administration to take the border issue seriously.
