What Would Happen If WalMart Ran Our Economy?

In the U.S., American’s spend $36,000,000 at WalMart every hour of every day.

This works out to $20,928 of profit every minute.

WalMart sells more from January 1st to St. Patricks Day than Target will sell all year.

WalMart is bigger tha Home Depot, Kroger, Target, Sears, Costco and K-Mart combined.

WalMart employs 1.6 million people, the largest private employer in the history of the world.  Most speak English.

WalMart sells more food than America’s two largest grocery chains, Kroger & Safeway combined and they did it in just 15 years. During this same period, 31 supermarket chains filed for bankruptcy.

WalMart now sells more food than any other grocery store chain in the world.

WalMart has 3,900 stores in the United States. 1,906 are SuperCenter stores, 1,000 more than 5 years ago.

This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store. The entire population of Earth is approximately 6.5 Billion.

90% of all American’s live within 15 miles of a WalMart.

Now, this may sound like complaining, but I assure it is not.  Compare the efficiencies of WalMart above, with the Federal Government of today:

The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775. It’s been “broke” all 234 years of its existence.

Social Security was established in 1935. Congress has stolen it blind, it’s broke. It’s full of nothing but IOU’s.

Fannie Mae was established in 1938. The Federal Government had 71 years to get it right and we know what happened – IT’S BROKE!

Freddie Mac was established in 1970. After 39 years of socialized tinkering and a housing bubble that popped costing trillions of dollars in lost home values, IT’S BROKE!

The War on Poverty started in 1964. After 45 years of transferring trillions of dollars of wealth to the poor, the system is not only broke, those on it are demanding more from those of us who pay taxes!  Yes, the poor are beating the “rich” and poverty is winning.

Medicare and Medicaid Medicaid were established in 1965.  After 44 years and trillions of wasted dollars, those on these government run health care systems receive lousy service, doctors are going broke, and the Government is now trying to inflict ObamaCare on the rest of us.  It’s BROKE!!

The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. Yet, with 16,000 employees and a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before, sending our hard earned money to people that not only hate us – they want to KILL US!

If there’s one thing that should be clear by now, it’s that our Government is run by a bunch of corrupt, stupid morons and it’s high time to vote them ALL out of office this November!
