First U.S. President To Hold Press Conference Without American Flags Present

Was I the only one who noticed this yesterday?

What’s wrong with this picture?  It’s a Presidential Press Conference without a single American flag in the background.  Since this was Obama’s first formal press conference in nearly a year, you’d think his staff would have the time to plan the event and get it right.

So what is the motive for not having the American flag present at the press conference?  Perhaps it was 22 years in Jeremiah' Wright’s church that bred this President’s hatred for America.  After all, Obama repeatedly sides with our critics and enemies against the American people.  Just look at how he permitted Mexico’s President Calderon to chide Arizona from the House well unrebutted.  Then there’s Obama’s constant reaching out to Iran and attempts to negotiate with the Taliban in Afghanistan.  The Taliban as we all know gave safe haven to Osama Bin Laden, the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks which killed more than 3,000 people and destroyed the World Trade Center.

Is it a coincidence or lack of planning that caused the American flag to not be present?  Personally, I think this incident combined with the fact that Obama will be skipping the laying of the Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery this Memorial day speaks volumes of this man who occupies our White House.

By the way, notice the teleprompters?  Is this “President” so damn’ dumb that he can’t have a press conference without teleprompters?

Considering Obama “took full responsibility” for “plugging the damn’ hole” only after blaming Bush for the leak in the first place it’s clear this “President” really doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about.

For example, Obama blamed the Bush administration for lax rules in inspecting oil rigs which caused this accident, yet ten days before the Deep Water Horizon blew up, Obama’s own people at the Minerals Management Service inspected the rig and passed it for safety.  Elizabeth Birnbaum was the head of MMS appointed by Obama.  This happened while his people were on watch, not Bush’s.

There’s also the fact that the Obama Administration failed to even acknowledge the incident for the first 9 days, turned away assistance from other countries, stopped supertankers from performing clean-up while the oil leaked, and prohibited Louisiana from building berms to keep the oil off their shores and save the shrimp and fishing industries.

All this from the so called “smartest” President ever elected.  Right, and people said Bush was dumb?

It has now been 40 days since this ecological and economic disaster started, and the American people have zero confidence that this assclown sitting in our White House has a clue as to what needs to be done.

“Daddy, did you plug the hole yet?”

 

Memorial Day White House News Dump Predictions

The Obama Administration is coming under increased scrutiny by none other than our lamestream media for its role in the Pennsylvania Democrat Primaries, and the attempted bribe of Joe Sestak to drop out of the race and give a clear field to Democrat turned Republican turned Democrat Arlen Specter.

Today the Washington Post reports that Sestak’s brother Richard, who served as his top political advisor and campaign lawyer spoke directly with Adminsitration officials about a high level cabinet position for his brother Joe in exchange for dropping out of the Democrat Primaries in Pennsylvania.

Joe Sestak you may recall first alleged the White House job offer in February of this year, and refused to drop out of the primaries.  The issue has caught fire since Sestak’s win last week, and now the lamestream media is finally doing their job, even if minimally, to learn what the White House knew, and when they knew it.

Surprisingly, the lamestream media questioned Obama during yesterday’s first press conference in almost a year on this topic.  I couldn’t help but hear shades of Richard Nixon’s “I am not a criminal!” in Obama’s denials that he or his administration had done anything wrong.

So here’s my prediction: Somewhere around 5:00 today Washington D.C. time, right as a holiday weekend begins here in the States, a document dump will occur.  In that document dump will be Obama’s lawyers “findings” that his Administration did nothing improper in offering Joe Sestak the Secretary of the Navy cabinet position in exchange for him dropping out of the Pennsylvania Democrat primaries.  The kneepad wearing lamestream media will of course worship at the altar of Obama and happily report this document dump as being “fact” with much fanfare, and continue their cover-up of the most incompetent President in history.

Update 9:42AM  BREAKING NEWS: Bill Clinton Authorized By White House To Offer Stesak A Job

The Washington Post’s Greg Sargent is reporting this morning that “Senior White House Advisors” asked former President Bill Clinton to contact Joe Stesak about his Senate run, and whether he’d be open to “alternatives” such as the Secretary of the Navy cabinet position.

Sargent reports that it was Rahm Emanuel who asked Clinton to talk to Stesak.  Does this mean the White House will try and throw Bill Clinton under the bus later today when White House legal council releases it’s “findings?”

If so, they do at their own peril as I’m betting Clinton’s involvement will only demonstrate how serious the White House was in clearing the field for Specter, keeping him as the Dem’s 60th vote needed to pass Obama’s agenda without republican support.

It will be very interesting to see how White House legal council spins this one later today without throwing Emanuel, Stesak or Clinton under the bus while maintaining distance from the deal.
