The official title is the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” popularly known as “Obamacare,” passed by the Senate in the wee-hours of Christmas Eve. This 2400-page monstrosity does what no enemy of America has ever been able to do: transform the land of the free into the home of the enslaved.

When government is paying for health care, government dictates the quantity, quality and price of the care. The costs that are not extracted as premiums or co-pay will be extracted as increased taxes.
When government is paying for health care, there are no choices, there are no options. Every life is subject to whatever requirements the government may choose to impose. Smokers, for example, could be denied certain services – should the government so decide. Overweight people could be denied certain services unless they meet government-imposed weight limits. Seniors could be denied life-extending procedures should the government decide that the cost is greater than the benefit.
Perhaps the worst consequence of Obamacare is the expansion of a culture that depends upon government; that teaches that government can bestow rights, whether to health care, or education, or a living wage, or all the other so-called rights listed in the socialists’ agenda.
Obamacare, if enacted, is indeed a shortcut to socialism.
The "Slaughter Rule" Is The Enabler
Named after House Rules Chairwoman Louise Slaughter, the "Slaughter Rule" would declare that the House of Representatives "deems" the Senate version of Obamacare to have been passed by the House without the House actually voting on the specific bill. House members would only be required to vote on whether to accept the "Slaughter rule," but would then be able to say they only voted for a rule, not for the actual bill itself.
Imagine that, the House of Representatives would pass a bill that completely changes the health care for every single person in this country without actually voting on it. Talk about shirking their responsibility to the American People to be accountable for the laws they pass!
So what are the Democrats waiting for in passing this Obamanation of a bill? Guarantees that the Senate will adopt changes from the House of Representatives after the "Slaughter Rule" is adopted. Once that happens, the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) is required to score changes (the actual costs of the legislation) once passed.
Once the CBO scores are in, Democrats plan on passing the "Slaughter Rule" which requires a simple majority - 51 votes - in the House of Representatives to pass.
Here's whats happening my friends, the Democrat controlled House of Representatives is conspiring with the Democrate controlled Senate to pass a bill that no one knows the contents or costs of, only revealing that information once the bill passes.
A bill that the overwhelming majority of American's do not want I might add.
To put this into perspective, would you purchase a car without knowing the make, model or options installed were? Of course not, yet that is precisely what the Democrat controlled Congress is about to do with your money in "health care reform."
This Congress must be stopped by any means necessary. And I do mean any means necessary.
Our own Declaration of Independence says:
"[W]hen a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce [the People] under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
The Declaration was written against the King "For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent." Doesn't this health care reform monstrosity do the same? The Declaration of Independence also declares:
"Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
Who are today's tyrants? Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barack Obama, and those Democrats (and Republicans that voted for cloture) who enable their Socialist/Fascist agenda in the United States Congress.
