Obama’s Katrina

Make no mistake about it, the environmental catastrophe happening in the Gulf of Mexico is Obama’s and the Left-Wing Environmentalist WHACKO’s in this Administration’s fault.

For years they’ve prohibited drilling ON LAND or on the Contintental Shelf where it’s much safer than drilling 5,000 feet down to the ocean floor, and look where their failed policies have gotten us.

Obama’s defenders will cry “What could he have done differently?”  How about stay out of the way and let BP do what needed to be done without Government interference, second-guessing and arm-chair quarterbacking?

Not only did this Administration completely IGNORE the disaster when it first happened (see: As Gulf oil spill worsens, Obama flies to San Fran to party with Getty Oil tycoons) it took more than a week for the White House to say anything about it and begin to act.  (see: How the White House destroyed the Gulf)

The EPA which initially approved the use of toxic dispersants to prevent oil from reaching the Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida shores, then jumps in and orders BP to stop using dispersant, without the EPA having any clue on what to use in the first place.  Lisa Jackson from the EPA then had to admit that the EPA had “no information” on the dispersant, Corexit and didn’t know what she was talking about.

The Pelosi controlled Democrat Congress then steps in and decides to punish American drivers for the oil spill, saying they will QUADRUPLE the Federal Gas Tax after the gulf oil spill.

A leading scientist, hand-picked by the Obama Administration to pursue a solution to the gulf oil spill problem was removed from the group working on the problem because the White House didn’t like his writings on the ineffectiveness of “racial diversity efforts” and in some of his online postings about homophobia.  Professor Jonathan Katz wrote about the AIDS epidemic, saying:

"The human body was not designed to share hypodermic needles, it was not designed to be promiscuous, and it was not designed to engage in homosexual acts"

Katz, a leading physics scientist at the University of Washington was fired by the Obama administration for his personal views which had nothing to do with the urgency in stopping an environmental tragedy from happening.

In short, Obama let his politics get in the way of solving a major environmental and economic problem because of his desire to appease the radical gay agenda and those activists within his administration.

This country deserves much better than the ass-clown we have in office now, and I damn’ sure hope this gets remembered come November so we neuter this stupid bastard from doing any more damage to our country.
