Susan Roesgen BUSTED At Chicago Tea Party
Sometimes the story AFTER the story is the most interesting.
Here you'll see what happened AFTER Susan Roesgen signed-off CNN from the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party. Many in the crowd WERE NOT happy with her "reporting" and let her know all about it.
Here's the proof of what we said in this very blog the other day: Susan Roesgen was not at the Tea Party to report the news, she was there to MAKE the news. This video proves it.
In this world, there are liars and there are Damn'ed Liars. Susan Roesgen is a Damn'ed Liar. She wasn't 'attacked' at the Chicago Tea Party, she was the attacker.
As one rally participant pointed out, there was no respect for CNN at the rally as CNN (via Susan Roesgen) certainly did not respect those who came to exercise their First Amendment rights.
Another example of why CNN's ratings are in the crapper. If you're like me and you think it's high time the media simply REPORTED the news and stopped insulting us by telling us what to think then we urge you to join the Fire Susan Roesgen Facebook Site! My Tax Day Tea Party Experience
CNN, MSNBC, Others Completely Mis-Represent Reality
Today I attended the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party Protest at Dirksen Federal Plaza in Downtown Chicago. The event had been planned along with hundreds of other Tax Day Tea Parties nationwide.
First, I wish to extend my kudos to the Chicago Tea Party event organizers. The event was well planned with a solid agenda and good speakers. As non-partisan events go, it was really well done. More than 10,000 people attended filling the Dirksen Federal Plaza to capacity, overflowing onto the streets.
People that I had the good fortune to speak to were a mix of those that identified with the Democrat and Republican parties with a fair sprinkle of "Independent" voters mixed in. All of whom came together because they're concerned about the explosive growth of the Federal Government, government intrusion into our daily lives, and the fact that the Federal Government has for years spent our hard-earned taxpayer dollars foolishly. This was the overarching concern expressed by speaker and attendee alike - many of which brought their children to this event.
As rally's and protests go, the crowd was exceptionally well behaved. People were friendly with each other, talked about the creativity of all the signs, why they were there, and often taking pictures of the event. There was a sense of history, the 'spark' that's about to light the wildfire that I think we all sense coming.
There were also a number of reporters covering the event from most of the major news networks as well. Photographers went about the crowd snapping pictures, TV crews took footage while reporters conducted interviews.
One interview that happened right behind where this writer was standing, was done by CNN's own Susan Roesgen. Susan spent some time wandring around the south-end of Dirksen Federal Plaza, commenting aloud for many to hear how "stupid" and "ignorant" she viewed those in attendance. In the footage you are about to see below, Susan Roesgen interviews a gentleman who brought his two year old son to the rally. There were many children ages 2-12 or so that came down to the city with their Parents, and this was what I'd call a 'family friendly' event. There was a sense of history in the crowd, a sense of tradition that is the American Experience in that we have the right like no other country, to voice our opinion when we believe our Government is out of line.
But rather than conduct an interview, Susan Roesgen's liberal bias is instantly apparent. As she argues with the gentleman she's 'interviewing' those who could hear her begin booing her. It's only at that point that Roesgen 'retreats' and claims an "anti-CNN bias" before sending the broadcast back to the CNN studio.
But here's what you won't see on camera: Roesgen walking around the crowd being rude and belligerent to rally participants and challenging them to debate her on CNN. Roesgen spent more than 15 minutes within earshot of this writer trying to goad various rally participants into going on the air. To the credit of those in attendance, none bit as it was apparent what she was up to. We all saw it.
As Roesgen began arguing with her interview subject, those of us around her who had witnessed her behavior before the interview began booing her.
And CNN wonders why their ratings are completely in the tank? Look no further than Susan Roesgen's behavior, which is typical of the liberal elite media. They after all know better than we do, don't they?
(CNN Reporter Harassed at Chicago Tea Party? Hardly. She came in with an agenda and failed in executing it.)

Are You A Right-Wing Hate Group?
Do you believe in States Rights?
The U.S. Constitution?
Are you against abortion?
Do you believe the immigration laws of this country should be enforced?
Are you attending a Tax-Day Tea Party tomorrow (April 15th?)
YOU MAY BE A MEMBER OF A RIGHT-WING HATE GROUP!
In a report titled "Right-Wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, the Department of Homeland Security identifies individuals, or members of groups that affiliate themselves with causes such as the above as "Hate Groups."
The most notable mention in the report is its identification of returning war veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan as being "prime candidates" for "right-wing hate groups." In the report, the Department of Homeland Security notes "Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to right-wing extremists," it says. "DHS/I&A is concerned that right-wing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize veterans in order to boost their violent capacities."
The report goes on to use the April 4th shooting deaths of three Pittsburgh police officers as an example of what may be coming by claiming the gunman allegedly held a racist ideology, was anti-government and believed in "conspiracy theories" that the Government was about to confiscate guns, abolish the second amendment and had built citizen detention camps to detain and imprison those who disagreed with the Federal Government.
The report also warned Law Enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for suspicious individuals that may have third-party bumper stickers, support Ron Paul or Bob Barr, or have anti-Obama bumper stickers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Make no doubt about it, when the Federal Government uses its power to marginalize those who don't submit themselves to its power, and seeks to punish those that disagree with it, the Federal Government has in fact grown too large and too powerful!
The Obama Administration is actively trying to shut its critics up through these types of intimidation tactics. Is it any reason more than 22 states have asserted their Sovereignty, affirming the 10th amendment?
And finally, what a great time for a Tea Party! This government is too big, it spends too much, and it no longer represents you and I. The government "of the people, by the people, for the people" no longer exists. It's high time we, the American Citizens, took it back.

Captain Richard Phillips Freed - FINALLY!
5 day hostage crisis comes to end. What took so damn' long?
Thank You U.S. Military! Three TERRORIST Pirates killed, one in custody. Captain Phillips is unharmed.
Somehow, we're sure that the liberals in America are upset that we have three dead terrorists that won't receive "their rights" to a criminal trial in America.
The Buck Stops ..... Where?
Obama Can't Blame Bush For This Mess!
We are now in Day 5 of the Somali Pirate Hostage Crisis. If using the term "hostage crisis" rings a bell, chances are you our dear reader remembers the Carter Administration's Iranian Hostage Crisis, which lasted 444 days and ended only as Ronald Wilson Reagan was sworn into office. As Reagan was being sworn in, the Iranian's hustled the fifty-two (52) American diplomats to a waiting plane out of fear of American retaliation. You see, the Iranian's viewed Reagan as a strong President, a man of his word and they feared him.
Fast forward to today, Easter Sunday as four Somali Pirates ("Terrorists" by any other name) literally hold the United States Navy, the strongest Navy in the world, at bay via a lifeboat and four rifles.
Ask yourself this question, "why are they doing this?" The answer is simple: they view Obama, a "community organizer" turned President as weak. With each passing moment that these four "pirates" (again, terrorists by any other name) keep the US Navy at bay, they gain strength in the eyes of the despots of the world.
And why not? North Korea launched a rocket over a U.S. ally just last weekend and what happened? The United States of America went on bended knee to the Useless Nations for what? Another "resolution?" Try another 'resolution' that not only wasn't passed, it never materialized. The Useless Nations did nothing to reprimand North Korea.
Armed with this information, we now have Somali Pirates (Terrorists) holding not one American hostage, but 16 across two vessels. So what is the Obama Administration to do?
Well, for starters they trot out Hillary Clinton to express her "concern" and "disappointment." Her feeble attempts to 'rally the world' to fight these terrorists has failed, MISERABLY. The 'world' isn't coming to America's rescue. Why should they? They aren't helping us in Iraq or Afghanistan either so why should they help the most powerful Navy in the world rescue American hostages?
Which brings us to Obama. Why is the White House silent, and what orders were issued to the U.S. Navy?
As someone who's never served in the military, I had what I thought was a reasonable question for my friends who have, or currently are serving. That question was this: "Why when Captain Richard Phillips jumped out of the life raft weren't the four Somali pirates blown out of the water?"
Their answer didn't surprise me, as each speculated that while the Captain of any Naval vessel has full command and control authority in life and death situations, it was very likely that orders were issued not to take out the Somali Pirates if the opportunity arose due to the Administration not wanting to appear as "bullies" to the rest of the world for exercising our power against four terrorists with rifles.
So our linkage to the Carter years in starting today's commentary appears to be entirely correct. We have a weak Commander in Chief that is hiding behind a Socialist/Marxist Secretary of State. Furthermore, we also have a return to Clinton-era policies that treat terrorists as 'criminals' under U.S. Law.
Need we remind you our reader that it was that same approach that allowed 19 terrorists to train to fly airplanes into buildings under Bill Clinton's watch, with nothing done to stop them even when the FBI raised the alert.
This same mentality along with Obama's Jimmy-Carter like inexperience and narcissistic tendencies may very likely result in another hostage crisis that makes America looks weak and will take decades to recover from.
The only question left in my mind is, will this one last longer or less than 444 days? I wonder what the over-under is in Vegas.

Saudi's Report Plot to Assassinate Obama
In the "Oh gee, I thought the world just loved us now that Bush was gone, and Obama is President now" category:
CBS News:
The Saudi Arabian newspaper al-Watan reported today that Turkish security services have arrested a man of Syrian origins Friday in connection with a plot to assassinate President Barack Obama during his current visit to Turkey.
The man, who was carrying an Al-Jazeera TV ID card in the name of M.G., confessed after his arrest that he was planning on stabbing the U.S. president with a knife during the Alliance of Civilizations summit held in Istanbul, adding that he had three other accomplices to help him execute his plan.
According to the paper, Turkish investigators were trying to verify whether the Qatari-based Arab TV channel has truly issued the ID card produced by the man, or if it’s a forged copy.
The suspect, a permanent resident of Istanbul, has been regularly attending all conferences and events relating to the Middle East held in the city.
Al-Watan contacted Al-Jazeera's bureau chief in Ankara, Yucef al-Sharif, who said that news of the suspect came as a complete surprise to Al-Jazeera staff in Turkey, who all claimed that they knew nothing about the man.
"We learned that he (the suspect) claimed to be working for our bureau … if that has been the case then he most certainly forged our ID card,” al-Sharif told al-Watan in a phone call from Ankara.
Al-Sharif said that Turkish security services know everyone who worked in Al-Jazeera's offices in Ankara.
Tell us again Mr. Obama that we're not at war with Islam? Seems kissing King Faud's ring got you something afterall. Next time, may we suggest you aim lower?
The Divider In Chief
In the last ten days, this writer was "push polled" over the phone by a political survey company who was hired to evaluate the current President's performance. (Note: the polling company refused to give their name, or state who hired them to do the poll.)
In taking the poll, I was asked to rate Obama's performance as President across a number of areas using different measuring criteria.
It didn't take long, perhaps the second question into the "poll" when I realized something was terribly amiss. Of the seven possible answers one could give to any question in the "poll" five of them would be considered "favorable" by any reasonably intelligent human being. One answer "fair" seemed neutral, the final answer "poor" seemed obviously negative.
Being the staunch Conservative (No, I'm not a Republican) that I am, all of my answers to the best of my objective capability determined that Obama was of course doing a rather "poor" job in office.
By about the fifth question, I decided to try to see if I could get the pollster to simply hang up as I added a significant amount of color commentary around my "poor" rating of Obama. Amongst other comments, I strongly suggested that Jimmy Carter was perhaps the happiest guy on the planet because finally someone had come along that would be a far worse President than he was.
By the last question (there were 20 in all) I could tell the pollster had enough of my commentary with each answer and the poll ended. But I wondered just why of the seven possible responses, five would be considered favorable, one neutral, and one "poor" by any reasonable test.
Then a friend forwarded this article to me just this past weekend which explained it all. It seems pollster John Zogby is onto the game that the other so-called "neutral" polling organizations are playing. Some of these polls show Obama with a 65% approval rating, but that simply cannot be true with the number of Democrats that oppose him (estimated 17%) while only 15% of Republicans polled have a favorable opinion. So where did the 65% number come from?
The answer: giving the President a "fair" rating is now being counted as "favorable" thus inflating the poll numbers.
With polling methodologies like this, it's got to be awfully hard for Obama to poll negatively doesn't it? So much for objectivity in polling, let's just TELL the American people what to think via push-polls, right?
Pew Research also got it right today in pointing out that Obama is in fact more divisive than President Bush was at the same point in his Presidency. As Pew points out, there is a 61 point gap in how Democrats and Republicans view Obama's performance. This makes Obama the most divisive President in the last 40+ years, at least at this point in his Administration.
Here the bad news for Obama is that so-called "Independent" voters have begun to abandon him. His approval rating with them has fallen to 55% according to Pew Research, which represents a second consecutive point drop in this key category. According to Pew Research, National Defense is a key issue for Independent voters, and Obama's poor performance here is leaving them feeling the United State is less secure. North Korea's missile launch over the weekend has had an impact, as nearly 60% of Independent voters believe the time for talking with North Korea is over, and the time for a Military response has come.
Liberals and the lamestream media can try and prop Obama up all they want, the reality that he may be the most disastrous President in US History is rapidly setting in not just with Republicans, but with Independent voters as well. Thats' a recipe for disaster for Democrats in 2010, and for Obama's "historic" Presidency.
Somewhere, Jimmah Carter must be smiling.

Obama Wants to Control the Banks
There's a reason he refuses to accept repayment of TARP money.
By STUART VARNEY
Wall Street Journal, April 4th, 2009
I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn't much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not been wasted or otherwise sunk down Wall Street's black hole. So why no cheering as the cash comes back?
My answer: The government wants to control the banks, just as it now controls GM and Chrysler, and will surely control the health industry in the not-too-distant future. Keeping them TARP-stuffed is the key to control. And for this intensely political president, mere influence is not enough. The White House wants to tell 'em what to do. Control. Direct. Command.
It is not for nothing that rage has been turned on those wicked financiers. The banks are at the core of the administration's thrust: By managing the money, government can steer the whole economy even more firmly down the left fork in the road.
If the banks are forced to keep TARP cash -- which was often forced on them in the first place -- the Obama team can work its will on the financial system to unprecedented degree. That's what's happening right now.
Here's a true story first reported by my Fox News colleague Andrew Napolitano (with the names and some details obscured to prevent retaliation):
Under the Bush team a prominent and profitable bank, under threat of a damaging public audit, was forced to accept less than $1 billion of TARP money. The government insisted on buying a new class of preferred stock which gave it a tiny, minority position. The money flowed to the bank. Arguably, back then, the Bush administration was acting for purely economic reasons. It wanted to recapitalize the banks to halt a financial panic.
Fast forward to today, and that same bank is begging to give the money back. The chairman offers to write a check, now, with interest. He's been sitting on the cash for months and has felt the dead hand of government threatening to run his business and dictate pay scales. He sees the writing on the wall and he wants out.
But the Obama team says no, since unlike the smaller banks that gave their TARP money back, this bank is far more prominent. The bank has also been threatened with "adverse" consequences if its chairman persists. That's politics talking, not economics.
Think about it: If Rick Wagoner can be fired and compact cars can be mandated, why can't a bank with a vault full of TARP money be told where to lend? And since politics drives this administration, why can't special loans and terms be offered to favored constituents, favored industries, or even favored regions? Our prosperity has never been based on the political allocation of credit -- until now.
Which brings me to the Pay for Performance Act, just passed by the House. This is an outstanding example of class warfare. I'm an Englishman. We invented class warfare, and I know it when I see it. This legislation allows the administration to dictate pay for anyone working in any company that takes a dime of TARP money. This is a whip with which to thrash the unpopular bankers, a tool to advance the Obama administration's goal of controlling the financial system.
After 35 years in America, I never thought I would see this. I still can't quite believe we will sit by as this crisis is used to hand control of our economy over to government. But here we are, on the brink. Clearly, I have been naive.

Attention Homeland Security: Barack Hussein Obama is a Known Terrorist Supporter! Do Not Let Him Back Into The Country
This man has links to William Ayers, a known domestic terrorist and is sending money to Palestinian Terrorists under the guise of "Foreign Aid."
By Federal Regulations, Barack Hussein Obama is a Terrorist Supporter who should not be allowed back into the country.
Be on alert for this man. If you see him trying to re-enter the country using his status as "President" of these United States, the Department of Homeland Security is to deny re-entry to this individual.
Here is his picture, be on the lookout.
