This same “individual” was recently interviewed by Brian Williams of NBC News as being a representative of the “Occupy Wall Street” protest in New York.

Vice President Biden’s Speech in Shanksville

Until yesterday my own opinion of Joe Biden was that he's nothing more than a bumbling gaffe track to be mocked and ridiculed.

Yesterday he connected with the families of Flight 93 and the American People in a way I never thought he could. Clearly he spoke from his heart and in my opinion, completely upstaged any speech Obama could possibly give today.

This is a side of Joe Biden I never expected to see, and it made me wish that he, not Obama were President.

In closing, I just want to say “Thank You” to Vice President Biden for his wonderful, heart-felt speech and having delivered it with a sense of purpose, selflessness and dignity in a way that Barack Hussein Obama never can.

God Bless America, the families who’s lives were tragically changed on this day ten years ago, and all who serve our country and have made the ultimate sacrifice in our defense.

George W. Bush – Flight 93 Memorial Speech

Yes, I admit it: I miss President Bush.

I miss the calm, the selflessness and leadership he displayed at this nation’s darkest hour.

There is no doubt in my mind or heart that this is the best speech he’s ever given. Compare and contrast the thoughtfulness and compassion which this speech was given, never once mentioning the word “I” a single time.

Unlike the current occupant of the White House, President Bush knows today and tomorrow are not about him.

For the record, one could also say the same thing about Vice President Biden’s speech today. Generally speaking, the man is typically a bumbling gaffe track. But today, I have to say, Vice President Biden spoke from his heart. It was easy to see he wasn’t reading from a teleprompter. His speech may have been largely memorized, but it was evident that parts were impromptu and from his heart.

There was no faking his getting choked up at one point when he talked about the “sudden call” he received telling him a loved one was gone as he connected with the families of Flight 93, and those of us watching. It was truly a moving moment.

While President Bush’s speech made me long for his Presidency, today Vice President Biden cast a long, long shadow over Barack Hussein Obama. Biden connected with the American people today in a way Obama hasn’t.

Thank you President Bush and Vice President Biden for capturing what today and tomorrow was all about: those who sacrificed themselves on Flight 93 to save others in the classic, American spirit.

Perhaps Rand Paul said it best yesterday when he succinctly said that blaming the Tea Party for the S&P Credit Downgrade was like blaming the Fireman for the Fire.

I agree. This “fire” was started by decades of financial mis-management in Washington DC, by Government burocrats who believed, and continue to believe that they know how to spend our money and run our lives better than we do.

That’s called arrogance, and right now the Obama Administration and their knee-pad wearing supporters are at the height of it (arrogance.)

Allow me to be the first to point out a fact that should be obvious to every American who knows how to think for themselves: It was only a year ago that the Obama Administration refused to acknowledge that there were tens of millions of American’s who disagreed with the direction he was taking the country, and that those tens of millions of American’s used their Constitutional right to protest in peaceful ways to make their voices heard.

Isn’t it somewhat odd, if not politically expedient (and hypocritical) that the very American’s the President and his political hacks in the White House refused to admit even existed last year, have so much “power” to disrupt our political system?

Adolf Hitler once said “If you tell a big enough lie long enough, eventually people begin to believe it.” Thus is the case with those who believe the “Tea Party” is responsible for the S&P downgrade.

A “Tea Party” Downgrade? Economic Terrorists? Holding America “Hostage?” All these well tested catch-phrases demonstrate just how desperate the White House is.

Let me demonstrate. To believe the Tea Party is responsible for the S&P downgrade, you have to believe that were it not for the Tea Party demonstrating against our out of control Government spending, that the S&P, Moody’s and other Credit Rating agencies would never have noticed our Government’s wreckless spending, and failure to plan to ever pay back our debt.

To believe that is patently absurd, if not downright stupid.

If you believe the “Tea Party”, or those American’s who insist the Government live within it’s means (the way each and every one of us has to) are a bunch of economic terrorists, then you yourself would be racking up debt, living far beyond your means, never believing the bills would come due or the creditors would come calling.

If the “Tea Party” is responsible for the downgrade, then why did the Stock Market fall nearly 200 points during the time Obama spoke on TV?

Finally, just who’s holding America hostage here? The Democrats controlled the House & Senate beginning in 2007, and the White House in 2008. In those four years beginning in 2007, they’ve failed to pass a federal budget, have wrecklessly spent six-trillion dollars and have failed to plan to pay our debts.

Who’s holding the country hostage? The Democrat Party, led by Barack Hussein Obama.

You want to know who’s to blame for the mess we’re in? Washington DC’s decades of fiscal mis-management. Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrat Controlled Congress.

Obama likes to say that Bush drove our economy into a ditch. Let’s be clear: Obama’s spending six trillion dollars with zero accountability drove not just our economy, but our nation’s credit rating right over a cliff, all the while mashing the gas pedal to the floor.

No President in history has racked up $6,000,000,000,000 (TRILLION) dollars in debt in their entire tenure in office. Obama managed to nearly double our National Debt in two short years, and cost the nation it’s Triple-A credit rating.

Yet another Obama “historic” first.

This country can certainly do without all these Obama “firsts” can’t we?

Majority No Longer Recognize Government As "Legitimate"

A new Rasmussen poll shows that just 17 percent of Americans believe that the U.S. government has the consent of the governed, an all time low. Congress itself, is at a paltry 6 percent and nearly half (46%) of all American's believe Congress itself is corrupt, with less than one-third (29%) believing differently.

A new Rasmussen poll also incidates that 77% of those surveyed say the Government no longer has their concent - a foundational principle contained in the Declaration of Independence.

"The poll was conducted before Friday’s U.S. debt downgrade, indicating that the figures could be even more dire in the aftermath of what some analysts believe is a precursor to a new great depression."

Great Depression? Looks to me like we're on the verge of a good old fashioned revolution.

The Pure, Unadulterated Truth You Won’t Read Anywhere Else

I’ve never been one to deliberately lie or mislead anyone reading this blog, and I’m not about to start now. I’ve always been the first to admit that I’ve never been happy with George W. Bush’s wild spending. As a fiscal and social Conservative, I personally found Bush’s fiscal record a train-wreck.

Starting with “Free Drugs for Seniors” as the largest expansion in social welfare programs since the Johnson Administration, George W. Bush took a budget surplus (even if only on paper…) and drove us into negative territory again. Folks, that’s just a fact.

That fact is not however an excuse for the Obama Administration taking a bad situation and making it ten times worse with demonstrably failed Keynesian economic policies which continue to refuse to realize the economic reality that we live in.

Before Obama, Geithner and the rest of the stooges running Washington DC try and ram QE-3 down our throats which will only further debase our currency and cause the other two ratings agencies to downgrade us along with S&P, let me run down a few basic and incontrovertable facts about exactly why S&P downgraded the U.S. credit rating to “AA” with a negative forecast.

Let’s start with the fiscally wreckless policies of the Obama and the Democrat Senate.

Starting in January of 2007, the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. As we’ve said before and we should all know by now, Congress controls the spending. They own the checkbook and write the bills to authorize spending. When Congress decides to spend money and appropriate (or in some cases, not appropriate) money by itself, there isn’t much a President can do other than voice opposition or approval.

The Democrat controlled Congress, specifically the United State Senate has not passed a budget since the Government’s 2008 fiscal year began. In fact, the last budget approved by Congress and signed by the President dates back to 2008, the last year Republican’s controlled the House, Senate and White House, for the 2009 budget year.

As the Democrats won the mid-term election’s in 2008, they assumed control of the House & Senate in 2009 and have not passed a federal budget since.

When the Democrats assumed the House & Senate in January 2009 they threw out the budget passed by the Republican Controlled Congress in 2008 (again, for the 2009 budget year) and proceeded to expand spending with no end in sight.

The last “Bush Budget” of 2008 had a deficit of $250 billion dollars, according to the non-partisan Office of Management & Budget. As we can see in 2009, the Democrats nearly tripled that amount, and this was after money was allocated for such mis-guided programs as TARP, the Banking Bailouts and bailouts for GM & Chrysler.

The lack of a comprehensive federal budget since 2009, and an Administration and Democrat controlled Congress is Reason #1 why S&P downgraded America’s debt.

Here’s Reason #2: A complete lack of taking our national debt seriously, as evidenced by John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, and the rest of the Republican establishment. Simply stated, the Republican establishment caved during the negotiations, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

No one will argue that the Democrats are in any way serious about tackling our mounting debt. These are the same Democrats that had to “pass the bill (Obamacare) in order to show us what was in it.”

Democrats, and to a very large degree the Republican establishment don’t know what the word “cut” means. They may reduce the “increase” in spending on a program and call that a “cut” but the rest of us out here in Real America knows that “cut” means STOP SPENDING!

Like the rest of us, S&P recognizes that this Congress simply is not serious about cutting anything. If they were, we’d be writing about One Trillion dollars in cuts by the next election. Rather, Boehner, McConnell and the rest of the Republican Establishment chose to kick the can down the road, and not seriously address the debt.

As one Congress cannot bind another, any proposed “cuts” in years 3-10 are frankly bullshit. What matters is what this Congress passes and cuts, not future Congresses which will have no obligation to follow what this Congress says.

The fact that Boehner, McConnell and the rest of the Republican Establishment gave Obama another $2 Trillion plus to spend before the next election is reason #3: they didn’t cut off Obama’s credit card. The wreckless spending binge continues, and as a result the Republican Establishment may have just handed the next election to Obama as a result. He has another $2 Trillion plus to buy more votes.

Finally, the fact that Congress once again failed to address the root cause of our structural debt and deficit is reason #4 S&P downgraded the U.S.’ credit rating. This problem has deep, deep roots dating back to the Johnson Administration when all Social Security Trust Funds were moved into the General Funding bucket, turning Social Security into nothing more than a cash-flow program (call it a “ponzi scheme” and you’d be correct!)

Cash flow hides alot of structural financial problems, until you run out of other people’s money, and that’s exactly what’s happening, if not already happened, to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

I’m a baby boomer born in 1962 at the very tail end of the “boom.” In the 1960’s, there was on average 6.5 people working for every 1 person on Social Security. When Social Security was moved from a Trust Fund to the General Funding bucket, all that money became available for the Federal Government to spend on “social welfare” programs (read that: Medicare, Medicaid and more.)

It appears to me that no one ever thought of the long term implications of raiding the trust fund and a declining birth rate here in America.

Add to that the problem of tens of millions of anchor babies now eligible for “benefits” they’ve never paid for and their families and we can easily see a ponzi scheme that’s not only run out of American taxpayer money, we’re now borrowing forty cents of every dollar this Government spends from the Chinese to pay for it.

And that’s just Social Security, I haven’t gotten to Medicare and Medicaid being their own ponzi schemes yet!

These three programs are the core of our structural debt and deficit problems, none of which were addressed by this Congress, and specifically the Republican Establishment which was within a day or two of Obama caving to the every demand of the Tea Party.

Had Congress addressed the structural debt and deficit issues which the Tea Party has rightly brought to light, there would’ve been no reason for S&P to downgrade United States.

So there you have it, the four reasons S&P downgraded America’s credit rating.

Mind you, I’m no fan of S&P. These are the same folks that rated mortgage backed securities as “triple-A” when they were anything but, and a primary cause of the economic mess we’re in today.

But let’s face reality, and that is S&P’s downgrade is in the end a “tax” on every American taxpayer who has a mortgage, car loan, credit card or other debt affected by interest rates.

For this, we have a President who knows only how to spend, and a Congress that lacks the backbone to say “NO!” to thank.

Hang onto your wallets folks, you haven’t seen anything yet. Just wait until Obama, Read and the rest of “Adults” in Washington return and want to raise your taxes.

Boehner Snatches Defeat From Jaws of Victory

NBC News is reporting this morning that Congress is "very close" to a deal that will raise the debt limit 2.8 TRILLION dollars over the next two years.

The deal will allegedly require $1 TRILLION in cuts over the next two years, with another 1.8 TRILLION dollars in cuts to be "recommended" by a joint Congressional "Committee."

The "Committee" would be "required" to recommend cuts by this November, and should this committee fail to agree, cuts in Defense and Medicare would be automatic and decimate both programs.

Who'd get the blame for these cuts? Why the Republican's of course, who the Democrats are already blaming for "wanting to kill our Senior citizens." Cutting the Military budget is the liberal Democrats dream, if they had their way they'd gut our Defense capabilities to zero.

Additionally, this deal is designed to avoid any further discussion on the Debt and Deficit until after the 2012 elections, and gives Obama everything he asked for.

Once again, the Republican Party is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, and is subsequently handing Obama the 2012 election by taking his debt-laden spending spree of $5.7 TRILLION DOLLARS since taking office, off the table.

Way to go, Boehner. Kick the ball down the road and let future generations deal with this mess, now that's leadership alright.

Democrats in Senate Threaten Default

Send Letter to Boehner Threatening U.S. Credit Rating

Last night, all 53 Senate Democrats signed a letter addressed to House Speaker John Boehner (R – OH) saying that they would rather the U.S. “default” on its debt rather than pass any plan passed by the House GOP that would cut spending and force another vote next year.

All week, we’ve been told that it’s the “Tea Party” and the Republican’s in the House that have been holding the debt negotiations hostage.

Well folks, who’s the “Party of No” now? It sure isn’t the Republicans, who are actually acting in this country’s best interest by directly addressing the debt and deficit while trying to take away this “President’s” unlimited check-book.

In the letter to House Speaker Boehner, Democrats argue that a short term extension of the debt ceiling would “put America at risk” arguing for a larger extension over a longer period of time.

Translation: The Democrats aren’t serious about cutting spending – ever.

Just look at the CBO’s numbers to see who the party of big spending really is! Obama more than tripled the budget deficit in his first year in office alone! These are the non-partisan CBO’s numbers here folks, I don’t make this stuff up!

Remember, the Democrat controlled Congress between 2006 and 2010 (four years!) failed to pass a Federal Budget. These were the same Democrats who quadrupled the annual budget deficit, and increased the national debt by 50%.

Here we have a prime example of 53 politicians that need to be shown the door ASAP. They’ve been part of the problem so long, they’ve demonstrated they cannot be part of the solution!

It's About The Spending, Stupid!

Six months ago, there seemed to be no end to the wreckless spending spree the Obama Administration embarked on January 20th, 2009 when Obama assumed power.

My how one mid-term election cycle and six months of hilighting the wreckless spending of Obama and the Democrats has changed the dialogue.

Last night, Barack Hussein Obama moved to the left of Dirty Harry Reid. Not only did he move left of Reid, he moved left of the majority of the Democrat party. Here it's important to note that during the 2010 mid-term elections, no fewer than 22 Democrats in the Senate running for re-election or election campaigned on balancing the budget, which the Obama Administration is steadfastly against.

In trying to demonize the Freshmen Republicans (read that: TEA PARTY) last evening, Obama characterized the choice between being a "balanced" approach versus cuts only. Obama's "balanced" approach includes more than $2,000,000,000,000 (Trillion) dollars in new tax increases on top of the expiring Bush Tax Cuts and the $1,500,000,000,000 (Trillion) dollars in tax increases as a result of Obama-Care.

Therefore my friends, the choice once we boil it down to dollars and cents is this: Cut government to live within it's means and the tax dollars it already takes in, or increase taxes to the tune of $4,500,000,000,000 (Trillion) dollars that the Obama Administration is demanding, and let the spending continue.

Let's see, we the American People can send $0 to this wreckless administration, or we can send another $4,500,000,000,000 (Trillion) dollars and let Obama keep spending like he has a blank check.

I choose $0, and by a recent CNN poll, so do 66% of my fellow American's who've woken up recently to the fiscal disaster this Administration has helped accellerate.

The dialogue is no longer how much can the government spend, the choice is now how much can they cut? I suggest they start with cutting and eliminating ObamaCare. That's money we didn't have when that over-arching legislative piece of Socialism was passed, and there can be no legitimate discussion about cutting Government programs without first recognizing that ObamaCare has to go.

And just what is America’s interest in replacing this “lost oil?”

Absolutely none. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Nada.

America imports absolutely no oil from Libya. Prices here aren’t affected by Libyan oil.

So who is affected? France primarily, followed by the rest of Europe.

Oh, and by the way – Obama’s POLL NUMBERS.

When will someone in the lamestream media ask “Why are we sending 30 million barrels of oil to Europe, to replace Libyan oil?

Persistent high unemployment is now being blamed for the impending double-dip recession that many economists argue is already here, or that we’d never exited the Great Recession in 2009 at all according to an article in today’s Investors Business Daily.

Nearly 25% of working American’s are Unemployed or Under-Employed according to the Bureau of Labor & Statistics.

9.2% of our workforce is Unemployed. No job, no paycheck, many have exhausted their overly-generous 99 weeks of unemployment.

Nearly 16% are chronically Under-Employed.

Chronic Under-Employment is a situation where a worker is employed, but not in the desired capacity whether in terms of compensation, hours, or level of sill and experience. While these folks are not technically unemployed, the Under-Employed are often competing for available jobs.

Nearly 25% of our workforce being Unemployed or Under-Employed isn’t a recession, this is Great Depression territory. Our economy hasn’t seen these types of numbers since 1938!

Is it any wonder that the majority of American’s have abandoned Obama’s economic “principles” and find themselves in complete disagreement with the direction of the country?

According to Gallup, only the most staunch, Liberal Democrats are still “with” Obama. The problem for Obama is, self-identified Liberal Democrats make up approximately 12% of the voting population.

These are the folks who recently boo’d and hissed at White House Communications Director David Pfeiffer, claiming Obama wasn’t liberal enough on issues such as gay rights and gay marriage. But then, where are the gay’s going to go?

Obama’s in big trouble in 2012. At the rate he’s plummeting in the polls, don’t be surprised if a bag of dirt running as a Republican sweeps all 50 states.

$1,000,000,000 To Pay For Homes

Homeowners facing foreclosure can now tap into a $1 billion program of emergency loans to help tide them over a temporary financial crisis, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced.

Beginning today, homeowners in 27 states can file preliminary applications for the Emergency Homeowner's Loan Program (EHLP). Eligible homeowners can obtain interest-free loans of up to $50,000 to help cover mortgage expenses for up to two years.

The new initiative is expected to provide assistance to up to 30,000 homeowners, with loans averaging $35,000 each. Loans may be used to pay a portion of monthly mortgage bills, including missed mortgage payments or past due charges including principal, interest, taxes, insurances, and attorney fees.

Here’s the best part folks:

Approved homeowners are eligible to receive one-time EHLP assistance to pay certain arrearages to bring them current, as well as ongoing monthly assistance to help them to make their monthly first lien mortgage payments (including payments of principal, interest, taxes, and insurances).

Assistance is limited to a maximum duration of 24 months, or up to a maximum loan amount of $50,000 in mortgage payment assistance, whichever occurs first. The EHLP loan is secured by a junior lien against the approved homeowner's principal residence and is forgivable over a 5-year principal reduction period.

Read that last sentence carefully: “forgivable over a 5-year principal reduction period.”

Kept Navy Seals Hanging While Deciding To Take Bin Laden Out.

Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would 'sleep on it' before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden's compound.

Hit squads of specialist Navy Seals - who were not even told who they were preparing to capture - had practised the mission at two reconstructions of the terror chiefs sprawling compound.

The mission looked set to be given the all clear last Thursday when analysts confirmed beyond doubt that Bin Laden was in busy town of Abbottabad in northern Pakistan.

But the president stunned officials when he told a national security meeting that he wanted more time to think - and disappeared out of the room.

'I'm not going to tell you what my decision is now - I'm going to go back and think about it some more,' said Obama, according to the New York Times. He then added 'I'm going to make a decision soon.'

The head of the CIA and other senior intelligence officers who were keen to proceed were left tense as they waited for the president's decision.

But the next morning after 16 hours, Obama summoned four top aides to the White House Diplomatic Room. Before they could speak, the president put his fist on the table and declared 'It's a go'.

With those three words, the greatest military operation in recent history began. Had it not been for heavy cloud cover on Saturday, troops would have been deployed then.

But they waited another day, and reached Pakistan just before midnight on Sunday evening. Obama refused to tell Pakistan about the mission in case it was leaked by jihadist sympathisers within the administration and Bin Laden took flight.

After Nearly A Decade Long Pursuit, Bin Laden Killed By U.S. Military

Last night around 10:30 CST, we learned of Osama Bin Laden’s death by U.S. Military Special Forces attack. The U.S. Government waited for confirmation of Bin Laden’s death using DNA Testing.

Bin Laden was located in what was described as a “large home” surrounded by other, smaller homes in a compound located just 40 miles outside of Pakistan’s capital. (This alone raises other questions about Bin Laden’s support by the Pakistani Government that we’ll deal with during another column.)

Reportedly, a small group of Special Forces using two attack helicopters landed within the compound and managed to overtake it in less than 40 minutes. One report indicates that special forces were “eye to eye” with Bin Laden at the end of the firefight and ordered him to surrender. Bin Laden refused and was killed in the ensuing, last exchange.

How was the United States able to confirm via DNA testing? Just over Two years ago, Bin Laden’s sister died in a New York City Hospital. One of the Bush Administration’s Justice Department acts was to obtain a court order for her brain, to be used to confirm Osama Bin Laden’s death if and when it happened.

Is the world a safer place today than it was yesterday, before we learned of the mastermind of 9/11/01’s death? I think that remains to be seen. There is no doubt however that Al Qaeda is weaker as a result, and their ability to pull off a terrorist attack in the United States is greatly diminished.

The attack of Sept. 11th, 2001 was between five and six years in the making. Our “immediate safety” no doubt is better, but in every terrorist organization as federated as Al Qaeda is, there is very likely a number two ready to step up.

For today however, we as American’s should celebrate this victory in the War on Terror that President George W. Bush courageously undertook, and forced (that’s right, forced) Barack Hussein Obama to complete. Even Obama last night had to admit the War on Terror was a success despite his proclamations in 2008 as Candidate Obama that it was a failure.

As we celebrate today, I ask one thing of you: when you see someone in a MILITARY uniform, please congratulate them on their dogged, nearly ten year long pursuit of the worlds most famous terrorist and their successful elimination of him.

How about this: YOU FIRST, Mr. "President." I've seen your motorcade in and around Chicagoland, do you really need all those Cadillac Escalade SUV's in your motorcade, especially the last one with the 50mm belt fed automatic weapon pointing out the back?

The other day gasoline hit the $6 mark in Maui, Hawaii at the Hana Pit Stop gas station. Here's the proof:

That's right, $6.03 for 87 octane, $6.14 for 89 octane and $6.25 for 92 octane. AAA reports that the average price for a gallon of gas in the state has reached an all-time high, at $4.55. And we haven't even hit the "peak driving season" yet.

According to a new NY Times/CBS News Poll that’s getting very little attention, 80% of Americans believe the economy is “Bad” while only 19% rate the economy as “Good”.

Who are these 19%? Are they complete morons?!

70% of Americans feel things in this country are seriously off on the wrong track. That is the highest number since the 79% registered in 1/11/09 when President Bush was still in office.

80% rate the national economy as bad (44% fairly/36% very). Only 19% rate it as good.

39% think the economy is getting worse, only 23% say it is getting better. Last month those numbers were even at 26. In February they were flipped at 32% better, 22% worse.

57% disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy. That is the highest disapproval measured by the CBS/NYT poll. His 38% approval is matched only once by a pre-Democractic election wipe out October poll.

59% disapprove of Obama’s handling of the federal budget. Also the highest CBS/NYT has ever measured that number.

Obama’s Libya approval numbers have completely flipped from 50/29 approve in March to 45/39 disapprove today.

46% disapprove of the way Obama is handling foreign policy. That is the highest number ever for Obama in a CBS/NYT poll. His 39% approval on FP is also his lowest score ever.

55% tell NYT/CBS they would rather have a smaller government providing fewer services. Only 33% want a bigger government with more services.

When asked “Do you think Barack Obama has the same priorities for the country as you have, or doesn’t he?” 53% said no and 43% said yes. When Obama was inaugurated those numbers were 65% and 28% no.

If you’ve never heard a Statist speak, yesterday was your day. Obama went right after those who create wealth in this country – the “Producers” as Ayn Rand called them in her novel Atlas Shrugged, and declared open warfare on them.

In what was undoubtedly an opening salvo in the 2012 elections, Obama came off as a dictator, hell bent on forcefully taking the wealth of the Producers in this country, to re-distribute them to those he called “not as fortunate.”

This is Statism in fact and in principle, it is nothing more than mob rule.

Obama says that the “wealthy” are the “fortunate” in America, and that the poor are the “less fortunate.”

As a country that values fairness, wealthier individuals have traditionally born a greater share of this burden than the middle class or those less fortunate. This is not because we begrudge those who’ve done well – we rightly celebrate their success. Rather, it is a basic reflection of our belief that those who have benefitted most from our way of life can afford to give a bit more back.

Bovine excrement. Obama absolutely begrudges those who he perceives as “wealthy” because somehow, in his mind, they became wealthy by “oppressing the poor.” Obama’s view of America at large is that of an Empire, subjecting other poor countries to it’s will via colonialism. This view perfectly matches Obama’s own view of “rich vs. poor.”

I say that at a time when the tax burden on the wealthy is at its lowest level in half a century, the most fortunate among us can afford to pay a little more. I don’t need another tax cut. Warren Buffett doesn’t need another tax cut. Not if we have to pay for it by making seniors pay more for Medicare. Or by cutting kids from Head Start. Or by taking away college scholarships that I wouldn’t be here without. That some of you wouldn’t be here without. And I believe that most wealthy Americans would agree with me. They want to give back to the country that’s done so much for them. Washington just hasn’t asked them to.

Let’s make no mistake here as we approach Tax Day in America. Obama isn’t going to “ask” anyone to pay more. Obama is going to seize what he believes is “fair” from those he calls “fortunate” to redistribute to those he believes are “less fortunate.”

As I myself just completed my taxes, fully 45% of what I earn has gone to the Federal, State and County governments in the form of Federal Payroll Taxes (Income, Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security) State Income Taxes, and Property Taxes.

Folks, I’m not rich, I don’t make $250k per year, far from it.

Forty five cents of every dollar I make goes to some form of tax before I see a single dollar in my paycheck. Afterwards, I’m “fortunate” enough to pay additional taxes anytime I purchase something in the form of Sales Taxes. With gasoline over $4/gallon where I live, I also pay Federal, State, Municipal and Sales taxes on every gallon of gasoline I purchase. Sum total of all those taxes: 82 cents per gallon.

Tell me again Mr. Obama that the “wealthiest” in America need to pay more?

The fact is, the top 10% of all wage earners in this country already pay more than 65% of all taxes according to the Internal Revenue Service.

Where’s the tax fairness in that?

The top 20% of all wage earners in this country already pay 80% of all taxes, again according to the Internal Revenue Service.

Where’s the tax fairness in that?

The “unfortunate” in this country pay less than 3% of all taxes in this country, yet consume most of the services County, State and Federal Government agencies have to offer in the form of free health care, income subsidies, food stamps, housing assistance, heating assistance and other goodies too numerous to list.

Exactly where is the tax fairness in that, Mr. Obama?!

Statism by any other name is still Statism, and Obama is a world-class Statist.

2012 cannot possibly come fast enough for me, I just hope John Galt is running.

Let's get this straight: Japan is in the midst of its worst crisis since ... hell I don't know when. It appears the radioactive fallout from Japan will reach our West Coast within the next week if the prevailing wind patterns keep up.

The Middle East burns with conflict after conflict across Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran.

At home, hyper-inflation is knocking on our doorsteps with skyrocketing gas and food prices, an unemployment rate at 10.2% (according to Gallup, everyone knows the BLS is cooking the books.)

The world is literally coming apart at the seams and the media is completely ignoring what this out of touch "President" is doing in our White House: He's focused on picking his March Madness brackets, and video-taping his picks for all the world to see.

Last Friday Obama welcomed the NHL Champion Chicago Blackhawks to the White House. I'm a 'hawks fan, but this was ridiculous. Aren't there more pressing issues? Of course there are!

This past Saturday, he golfed for the 61st time since becoming "President." President Bush didn't golf anywhere near as much during his entire 8 years in office.

Sunday Obama spoke out against "bullies" telling of his own personal experience. Pardon me while I yawn, but I bet the worthless POC deserved what he got!

Tomorrow, Obama will be partying with the Taoiseach of Ireland, who'll be in town to help Obama celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The SOB isn't even Irish!!

And then Friday it’s off to Brazil for the start of a three-country Latin American tour.

Today our thoughts and prayers are with those in Japan who are affected by a horrendus 8.9 earthquake and subsequent tsunami which caused a 33 foot wave to strike the North East part of Japan, and 4-6 foot waves elsewhere to cover significant parts of the islands.

Japan has more than 50 nuclear reactors providing electricity across its islands, all but one of which were shut down safely immediately following the earthquake. One is on fire at this moment, our hopes and prayers are that this already tragic situation doesn’t go nuclear.

Hawaii is about to be hit any minute, the West Coast of the U.S. in the next few hours. Godspeed to all in its path.

White House “Commencement Challenge” Is An Epic Failure!

CBS News reports only 16 High Schools "applied" to have Obama speak at their graduation commencement this year.

In fact, there were so few applications before the February deadline , the White House extended the deadline to March 11th. Since the extension, the “Commencement Challenge” run directly out of the White House has received an additional – get this – 52 applications for a total of 68.

The Obama Administration is so desperate, they’re trying to keep the actual count from going public (too late!) and are now asking Congressional Staffers to “reach out” to their local school districts to get them to apply.

Obama Administration officials are at a loss to explain exactly why they’ve received only 16 initial applications and were forced to extend the deadline to try and garner more interest.

Allow me to explain it to the Obama Administration in three short, simple words:

The fact is this: opening up the SPR will do absolutely nothing to gasoline prices in this country. As with the case of Bill Clinton when he ordered the Strategic Petroleum Reserves tapped into, the price of gasoline at the pump DID NOT DROP. The only thing it managed to accomplish was to make the Clinton Administration and the media “feel good” that the President “did something.”

As we’ve said time and again, the Obama Administration wants high fuel prices to make “green energy” seem cheap by comparison. That is the only way Obama and his leftist-environmental whacko’s get to advance their agenda to have us all freezing to death in the middle of winter in unheated homes/caves waiting for windmills to spin or the sun to come out.

It is after all that “disposable income” which is used to purchase other things such as clothes, cars and other items which drive our economy.

Using receipts from the last year, here are the affects of Obama’s “economic policy” on my household at the grocery store:

Coffee. A 2 pound, 5 ounce container is around $12. 6 months ago it was around $7. Prior to that, the average price was $3.99.
Dozen Eggs. Last year, 99 cents. On sale, 79 cents. Yesterday, $3/dozen.
Milk. $4/gallon. The price has fluctuated so much it's hard to tell what it USED TO BE. Last time I picked it up at the local convenience store near the house about a year ago, I paid something like $2.49/gal for 2%.
Canned Gren Beans (Generic). 8 months ago, 33 cents for a 12 ounce can. Yesterday, same brand was $1.49
Flour. 5 pound bag yesterday was $7. 8 months ago it was under $2.
Sugar. 5 Pound Bag yesterday was $8. 8 months ago it was under $2.
Chicken. Over $3/pound here, it used to be around 79-99 cents per pound in the last year.
Beef. We don't even look at the price anymore, it's gotten that expensive and is no longer a part of our diets.

We've known this corrupt government led by the community organizer in chief has been lying for a very long time. Frankly, I’ve never believed a word this POS has said since his days here in Chicago.

I'm fortunate enough that my wife saw all this coming months ago and began stockpiling our pantry and freezer. With the exception of milk (and occasionally eggs..) we no longer buy any of the above as our pantry has been well stocked for awhile now.

We can pass these prices up until they come back down, but not everyone we know is as fortunate. My wife has done a great job with the family food budget (she’s become a coupon maven) so she could "splurge" when something like coffee went on sale for $3.99-$5.99 some months ago and stocked up.

I just counted our pantry, I have 24 2 pound, 5 ounce Maxwell House Mountain Roast cans on the shelves. That's well over a year's worth of coffee for us. At today's prices, that's about $300 worth of coffee that should've cost about $94 at "uninflated" prices.

Every family in America that has to go to a grocery store knows that hyper-inflation is already here. Our government hides it by not including food and fuel costs in the calculation. I cannot imagine what those on retirement/fixed incomes are going through just trying to put food on their tables at these prices.

Lastly, Gasoline prices. The cost of 87 octane unleaded here is $3.60/gallon. Diesel is $3.85/gallon. Those are the highest prices since the summer of 2008. With the exception of one two-week period in mid-2009, regular unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel prices have remained above $3/gallon during Obama’s pResidency. Even with these prices nearing all-time highs, there is no talk of re-opening the Gulf for drilling, or tapping into our own natural reserves.

We all know hyper-inflation is already here. We see it every time we go to the grocery store or stop to put gasoline in our cars or diesel in our trucks.

Anyone who doubts that the trend toward socialism is pushing America toward ruin should examine the historical tables President Obama published Monday along with his $3.7 trillion budget.

In fiscal 2011, according to these tables, the Department of Health and Human Services will spend $909.7 billion. In fiscal 1965, the entire federal government spent $118.228 billion.

What about inflation? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics' inflation calculator, $118.228 billion in 1965 dollars equals $822.6 billion in 2010 dollars. In real terms, the $909.7 billion HHS is spending this year is about $87.1 billion more than the entire federal government spent in 1965.

1965 was a key year in the advancement of socialism in the United States.

From 1776 until 1965, Americans generally did not rely on the federal government for health care unless they served in the military or worked in some other capacity for the federal government.

But in 1965, President Lyndon B. Johnson and a Democratic Congress enacted two massive federal entitlement programs -- Medicare and Medicaid -- that fundamentally altered the relationship between Americans and the federal government by making tens of millions dependent on the government for health care.

Just over a minute into their flight, Commander Francis Scobee was given the go to “throttle up.”

What happened next was just unthinkable to those of us watching on TV or on the ground. Space travel had become so “ordinary” by then when all of a sudden we were given a horrifying reminder of just how technically intricate man’s foray into space really was, and how quickly the lives of seven brave astronauts could be taken from us.

It was a shock around the world really as millions of people witnessed the loss of the Challenger, STS-51-L over and over again on television sets around the world.

Many people may not remember where they were 30 years ago today as Ronald Wilson Reagan was sworn into office, but I do.

I was working on the factory floor of Sweetheart Cup Corporation at 75th and Kostner ave. in Chicago as Ronald Reagan was sworn into office.

What made the day so special was that 444 days prior to Reagan’s swearing in, seventy Americans were taken hostage by Iranian militants on November 4th, 1970. At the time of the crisis, Jimmy Carter, then the 39th President seemed powerless if not completely inept and impotent to bringing the crisis to an end.

Believing that patience and negotiations would bring the crisis to an end, Jimmy Carter refused all military solutions to the problem until the summer of 1980 and an ill-fated poorly planned rescue attempt cost nine brave American servicemen their lives during a sandstorm which caused their helicopter to crash.

It was on this day in January of 1981 as Ronald Wilson Reagan was sworn into office that the rogue Iranian Government led by the Ayatolla Khomeni released the remaining 52 hostages.

Some foolishly believe Jimmy Carter’s 444 days of “diplomacy” freed the hostages. Those of us who don’t have our collective heads up our arses know that the Iranian’s were deathly afraid of Reagan and feared an immediate and unforgiving response by the American military to end the crisis.

As I stood there on the factory floor of Sweetheart Cup Corporation on this day, 30 years ago, I was proud to be an American again after four years of disgrace under the Carter Administration.

Much like the complete disdain I have for the current (illegal) occupant of the White House today, the day will come again that I will be proud of my President and my countrymen for having elected them.

Let me start by saying I’m glad Congresswoman Gabby Giffords is recovering so quickly after being shot through the head last week by Jared Loughner, the whack-job in Arizona who killed six and injured many others.

As we know, Congress members receive health care that is above and beyond that which is available to us poor ordinary citizens. They are after all, better than us, more important than us, and dog gone it, they can tell us how to run our lives.

But I do have a question for Congresswoman Giffords that I’d like her to answer as soon as the tracheotomy heals:

Congresswoman Giffords, you've received the best medical care in the world at a cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars, to treat a brain injury that perhaps 10% of people recover from to varying degrees. Don't you want every American citizen to have the same access to life saving medical care such as you've received, and if so, are you now prepared to reverse your vote for ObamaCare and support its repeal?

Of course no one in the lamestream media would have the testicular fortitude to ask such a question, and that’s a shame because cases such as Giffords would result in death under ObamaCare. Of the 10% that manage to survive being shot through the brain such as Giffords was, the overwhelming majority either never recover enough to sustain and care for themselves or become vegetables requiring extensive care the rest of their natural lives.

Had Giffords been under ObamaCare, she wouldn’t be alive today. Actuaries and death panels would’ve seen to that.

So what do you say, Congresswoman Giffords: Will you give every American the same chance at life you were just given, and vote to repeal ObamaCare?

Threatens To Kill AZ Republican Representative, Tea Party Leader

Yesterday during an ABC News sponsored “Town Hall” meeting in Arizona, James Eric Fuller went off the deep end and threatened to kill Republican AZ State Representative Terri Proud and Tuscon Tea Party Spokesman Trent Humphries. At one point, Fuller snapped a picture of AZ State Rep. Terri Proud and shouted “you’re dead!” before Pima County Deputies escorted him away from the event and placed him under arrest.

Witnesses sitting hear Fuller told police that he was making them feel “very uncomfortable” and was clearly agitated when he arrived at the event.

As Deputies escorted Fuller from the event, Fuller shouted loudly “you’re all whores!”

Fuller, a victim of last weeks shooting rampage by Jared Loughner in which 9 year old Christina Taylor Green was killed and AZ Democrat Gabby Giffords was shot through her brain, was taken into custody by none other than Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik and involuntarily submitted for a mental health evaluation.

Fuller is a self-described “political operative” who specializes in gathering petitions for Democrat party candidates and ballot initiatives. Before the program began, he passed out business cards reading: “J. Eric Fuller, Political Circulator. Expediting Initiatives since 2006.”

In fact, in Fuller’s online profile on website “hypnothoughts.com” he describes himself as follows:

I use extraordinary persuasive charisma to interest blase, apathetic, oblivious and at times hostile voters to listen to the voice of justice and consanguinity. My experiences encountering public figures and many affluent travelers in person has led me to believe that we all are to blame for George W. Bush.

With a high opinion of his powers of persuasion and a rather unique ability for insinuating himself at public appearances of the rich and famous he apparently believes that his grievances with President Bush are everyone’s fault. I know; it doesn’t make any sense to me either.

This does not bode well for the Democrats at all. As we reported earlier this week, the number of death threats by left-wing Democrats such as Fuller has escalated dramatically over the last week. (See Twitter threats against Sarah Palin below.)

This isn’t just Bush Derangement Syndrome or Palin hatred at play with this guy, he’s a prime example of a typical left-wing nutjob who wants the world his way and nothing else.

Next week, the U.S. House of Representatives will be voting on an historic repeal of the Obamacare law. While there are many reasons to oppose this flawed government health insurance law, it is important to remember that Obamacare is also one of the largest tax increases in American history. Below is a comprehensive list of the two dozen new or higher taxes that pay for Obamcare’s expansion of government spending and interference between doctors and patients.

Individual Mandate Excise Tax(Jan 2014): Starting in 2014, anyone not buying “qualifying” health insurance must pay an income surtax according to the higher of the following:

	1 Adult	2 Adults	3+ Adults
2014	1% AGI or $95	1% AGI or $190	1% AGI or $285
2015	2% AGI or $325	2% AGI or $650	2% AGI or $975
2016+	2.5% AGI or $695	2.5% AGI or $1390	2.5% AGI or $2085

Exemptions for religious objectors, (Amish, Muslims, Scientologists) undocumented immigrants, prisoners, those earning less than the poverty line, members of Indian tribes, and hardship cases (determined by HHS)

Employer Mandate Tax(Jan 2014): If an employer does not offer health coverage, and at least one employee qualifies for a health tax credit, the employer must pay an additional non-deductible tax of $2000 for all full-time employees. This provision applies to all employers with 50 or more employees. If any employee actually receives coverage through the exchange, the penalty on the employer for that employee rises to $3000. If the employer requires a waiting period to enroll in coverage of 30-60 days, there is a $400 tax per employee ($600 if the period is 60 days or longer). (NoBamanation Note: Companies will raise prices to consumers in order to comply. This will ultimately drive inflation.)

Combined score of individual and employer mandate tax penalty: $65 billion/10 years

Surtax on Investment Income ($123 billion/Jan. 2013): This increase involves the creation of a new, 3.8 percent surtax on investment income earned in households making at least $250,000 ($200,000 single). This would result in the following top tax rates on investment income:

Excise Tax on Comprehensive Health Insurance Plans($32 bil/Jan 2018): Starting in 2018, new 40 percent excise tax on “Cadillac” health insurance plans ($10,200 single/$27,500 family). For early retirees and high-risk professions exists a higher threshold ($11,500 single/$29,450 family). CPI +1 percentage point indexed.

Hike in Medicare Payroll Tax($86.8 bil/Jan 2013): Current law and changes:

HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike($1.4 bil/Jan 2011): Increases additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent.

Flexible Spending Account Cap – aka“Special Needs Kids Tax”($13 bil/Jan 2013): Imposes cap of $2500 (Indexed to inflation after 2013) on FSAs (now unlimited). . There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education. (NoBamanation Note: Those with chronic illnesses requiring long term medications are also adversely impacted by the FSA cap.)

Tax on Medical Device Manufacturers($20 bil/Jan 2013): Medical device manufacturers employ 360,000 people in 6000 plants across the country. This law imposes a new 2.3% excise tax. Exemptions include items retailing for less than $100. (NoBamanation Note: All costs of doing business are passed off to consumers. Expect these tax hikes to be passed on in higher costs!)

Raise "Haircut" for Medical Itemized Deduction from 7.5% to 10% of AGI($15.2 bil/Jan 2013): Currently, those facing high medical expenses are allowed a deduction for medical expenses to the extent that those expenses exceed 7.5 percent of adjusted gross income (AGI). The new provision imposes a threshold of 10 percent of AGI; it is waived for 65+ taxpayers in 2013-2016 only.

Tax on Indoor Tanning Services($2.7 billion/July 1, 2010): New 10 percent excise tax on Americans using indoor tanning salons

Elimination of tax deduction for employer-provided retirement Rx drug coverage in coordination with Medicare Part D($4.5 bil/Jan 2013)

Blue Cross/Blue Shield Tax Hike($0.4 bil/Jan 2010): The special tax deduction in current law for Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies would only be allowed if 85 percent or more of premium revenues are spent on clinical services. (NoBamanation Note: All costs of doing business are passed off to consumers. Expect these tax hikes to be passed on in higher costs!)

Excise Tax on Charitable Hospitals(Min$/immediate): $50,000 per hospital if they fail to meet new "community health assessment needs," "financial assistance," and "billing and collection" rules set by HHS.

Tax on Innovator Drug Companies($22.2 bil/Jan 2010): $2.3 billion annual tax on the industry imposed relative to share of sales made that year. (NoBamanation Note: All costs of doing business are passed off to consumers. Expect these tax hikes to be passed on in higher costs!)

Tax on Health Insurers($60.1 bil/Jan 2014): Annual tax on the industry imposed relative to health insurance premiums collected that year. The stipulation phases in gradually until 2018, and is fully-imposed on firms with $50 million in profits. (NoBamanation Note: All costs of doing business are passed off to consumers. Expect these tax hikes to be passed on in higher costs!)

$500,000 Annual Executive Compensation Limit for Health Insurance Executives($0.6 bil/Jan 2013)

Employer Reporting of Insurance on W-2(Min$/Jan 2011): Preamble to taxing health benefits on individual tax returns. (NoBamanation Note: All costs of doing business are passed off to consumers. Expect these tax hikes to be passed on in higher costs!)

Corporate 1099-MISC Information Reporting($17.1 bil/Jan 2012): Requires businesses to send 1099-MISC information tax forms to corporations (currently limited to individuals), a huge compliance burden for small employers.

“Black liquor” tax hike(Tax hike of $23.6 billion). This is a tax increase on a type of bio-fuel. (NoBamanation Note: This will surely kill the alternative fuels / green energy industry!)

Codification of the “economic substance doctrine”(Tax hike of $4.5 billion). This provision allows the IRS to disallow completely-legal tax deductions and other legal tax-minimizing plans just because the IRS deems that the action lacks “substance” and is merely intended to reduce taxes owed. (NoBamanation note: Talk about giving the IRS unfettered power to make every day American’s criminals! This is purely subjective, requiring no metric to determine any facts in individual cases!)

Obama NLRB Backs Card-Check, Sues To Stop Anonymous Ballots

The right to a secret ballot is a fundamental right of every American since the beginning of this country. During each election, how we vote is secret, known only to us.

The Obama Administration, the National Labor Relations Board led by extreme socialist Lafe Soloman and the Unions however don’t like secret ballots when it comes to union ballots.

This past November, South Dakota, South Carolina, Arizona and Utah all passed State Constitutional Amendments guaranteeing workers in their states the right to a secret ballot in union elections.

The NLRB with the full support of Barack Hussein Obama and the major unions are suing these states to overturn these states amendments as “unconstitutional” and “to conserve state and federal resources.”

Since when did Democrats/Socialists care about our Constitution or Federal resources for that matter?

Here’s the problem: Unions have long pushed for card-check legislation, disingenuously cloaking it in the language of “worker protection.”

The reality is the major unions are determined to implement card-check by any means necessary, against the wishes of the American people and Congress. Card check is nothing more than the unions trying to identify those who are against them organizing in companies and then targeting them for bullying. In short, Card-Check is really intended to restrict how workers determine whether or not they choose a union by forcing them away from an anonymous ballot to a named ballot instead.

What this all means is we now have a Federal Government who’s firmly behind the socialization/unionization of all American’s in order to get a job.

As we said at the time of the automobile industry bailouts, GM and Chrysler were just the start.

Utah and three other states are already gearing up for a legal fight, time will tell whether or not the privacy of an anonymous ballot is upheld in union elections. If that right falls, my fear is that our Constitutional right to an anonymous ballot in political elections will follow.

Friends, I have to tell you that I’m absolutely disgusted. Once again, the Democrats have sunk to a new low turning a memorial service inot a campaign rally. Last time it was Paul Wellstone’s memorial. This time the Democrats and Barack Hussein Obama are hijacking the memorial service for the victims killed by Jared Lee Loughner in Arizona last weekend into a campaign rally for Barack Hussein Obama.

I am literally sick to my stomach that nine year old innocent victim Christina Taylor Green’s name hasn’t even been mentioned. A beautiful young girl who’s life was tragically cut short by a psychotic gunman is being used by a sitting President to advance his agenda and –check this- sell t-shirts.

Also being ignored are the other five victims fatally shot by Loughner, John Roll, Gabe Zimmerman, Dorwan Stoddard, Phyllis Scheck and Dorothy Morris. All murdered at the hands of someone who should’ve never been given a gun much less walking the streets unchecked.

While Obama and the Democrats turn this “memorial service” into a campaign rally for themselves, I thought it may be appropriate to give you a little background on these six victims who are being ignored at a memorial service by the sitting President of the United States no less.

And so I can't help but see my husband when I look at Zimmerman, a man in love (he was engaged to be married), a man who enjoyed sports.

Then there's John Roll, a federal judge, a man who was just 63 years old when he was shot and killed in that Safeway grocery store. In him I see my father, a man who is in his late 50s. Like Roll, he's a grandfather. Like Roll he's nearing retirement age but still a hard worker -- in fact Roll was said to have stopped by the Safeway on his day off to talk to Giffords about work (the Congresswoman helped line up funding for a courthouse).

Or what of Stoddard, the pensioner who had been widowed and met his childhood sweetheart who had likewise been widowed, who married her and stood on line with her at Safeway on Saturday? When the bullets rang out, Dorwan threw his weight on top of his dear Mavy, saving her life and sacrificing his own. Yes, he was in his mid-70s. But my grandfather is 90 and still kicking. He had plenty of life yet to live.

The same goes for Scheck and Morris, women past their prime to be sure, but still beautifully, wonderfully alive until Saturday when they were taken away by a crazy man with a gun. In all of them I see potential lost, and yet lives lived.

To me, the most tragic loss is that of nine year old Christina Taylor Green. Parent’s aren’t supposed to outlive their children, much less bury them. The tragedy is of a life unlived, potential lost, and an childs innocence forever gone.

At the same time, what infuriates me most is the non-stop focus on Gabby Giffords. Yes, she along with a bunch of others survived but where are their stories as well?

Once again, the lamestream media places the importance of a government official above all others. We don’t hear how the other survivors are doing on a daily basis do we? Of course not, we’re not as important as Giffords. Can you smell the elitism here? I sure can. The non-stop media coverage and what Obama’s doing at this moment in turning a memorial service into a campaign rally just reinforces what real American’s think of today’s politicians: they’re all douchebags in it for themselves.

Don’t believe me? Watch a replay of the “memorial service” on youtube when it’s over and ask yourself these questions:

1. Is selling t-shirts reading “together we thrive” appropriate at this event?

2. Is cheering the First ~~Lady~~ Moocher appropriate at this event? Should she really be smiling, laughing and waving back??

3. Why is the crowd cheering Obama? Are they there for a memorial service to honor the dead or are they there to see their “Messiah?”

Pardon me, but what’s going on in Arizona at this moment is an absolute disgrace. Obama and the Democrats have sunk to a new low and I hope good, right-thinking American people see this farce for what it is.

What a tragic way to “remember” the lives of those lost.

Deal Maker Daley: Obama’s Emissary to Boehner?

Michael Barone at TownHall.Com has an interesting and spot-on analysis of Obama’s new Chief of Staff, Bill Daley.

Daley is not an unknown figure here in the Chicago news market. Daley has always been in positions in the public sector where he’s been an ‘intermediary’ between businesses, unions and Governments. I can only hope new House Speaker John Boehner isn’t taken in by this guy’s line of bullshit.

Under Daley’s watch at JP Morgan Chase, the bank unloaded hundreds of billions of mortgage backed securities to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac helping cause the downturn in the housing and mortgage industries.

Daley has also been an advocate of NAFTA, helping Boeing for example export manufacturing jobs to China for example.

In short, Daley doesn’t really have any experience creating jobs in the American economy, simply put: he’s a jobs destroyer in a job creator’s clothing.

It's not hard to understand Obama's reasons for choosing Daley. Businesses are sitting on $1 trillion in cash and refusing to make job-creating investments. They are spooked by the Obama Democrats' vast expansion of the size and scope of government and the prospects of ever more intrusive and expensive regulations being churned out by various federal agencies every day.

Obama hopes that the fact that Daley has held high-level jobs in the private sector will assure them that their fears are unfounded.

But when you take a look at Daley's resume, what you see are positions not in job-creating departments but at the intersection between private firms and governments. He headed a union-owned bank. He was on the board of Fannie Mae. He was a high honcho at the telecom SBC.

Think about this for a minute: Caitlin Parker had known that Loughner was a “Tea Party Member”, Fox News watcher or had any hard associations with a right-wing organization, is it reasonable to believe that ABC would’ve ignored this information?

Of course they wouldn’t have, they’d have trumpeted it all over the headlines but the fact is Loughner has no known ties to any Tea Party or Conservative groups.

First, Jared Loughner was known to have mental problems which ultimately fueled his rage.

Loughner also posted several YouTube video’s professing his disbelief in the United States Constitution, and anger that Giffords supported the Second Amendment.

Incoming house speaker John Boehner has set January 12th as the date to begin repealing ObamaCare, the greatest threat to our personal freedoms by the Federal Government in our lifetime.

Senate Democrats led by Harry Reid of Nevada and Dick “Turbin” Durbin of Illinois have said they’ll use every Senate procedural trick to stop it from coming to the Senate floor.

Game on.

If Harry Reid and Dick “Turbin” Durbin want to spend the next two years defending passage of the largest federal power grab over our personal lives for the next two years, I say let them. The result will be even more massive losses for Democrats in 2012 with the potential for a veto-proof Republican led Senate and a Republican in the White House.

Tea Party, anyone? The next two years will give rise to the biggest political movement this country has seen since the Declaration of Independence if Democrats do as Reid and Durbin are suggesting.

The fact is, ObamaCare is a job killer, deficit buster, debt creator and spends money this country does not have at a time when the focus should be on getting Federal, State, County and Municipal budgets back under control and creating that three letter word Joe Biden likes so much, j-o-b-s.

The response of the lamestream media has been pretty typical, blaming Republican’s for repealing “free healthcare for millions of people.” Forget the fact that this so-called “free healthcare” isn’t exactly “free” and doesn’t actually start until 2013, after Obama’s first and only term in office.

The fact is, the Republican Party is responding to the clear voice of the American people, not just the Tea Party. 60% of American’s according to a recent Rasmussen poll want ObamaCare repealed.

Not fixed, repealed.

That doesn’t bode well for the tone-deaf democrats who are about to embark on another two years of not listening to the will of the American people. If 2010 wasn’t enough of a spanking for the Pelosi-Reid led Democrats, 2012 will be an absolute bloodbath.

If the Democrats are lucky, that bloodbath will be contained to the voting booth.

The U.S. isn't the only place that's facing a major pension fund crisis. The Christian Science Monitor has this alarming report:

People’s retirement savings are a convenient source of revenue for governments that don’t want to reduce spending or make privatizations. As most pension schemes in Europe are organised by the state, European ministers of finance have a facilitated access to the savings accumulated there, and it is only logical that they try to get a hold of this money for their own ends. In recent weeks I have noted five such attempts: Three situations concern private personal savings; two others refer to national funds.

The most striking example is Hungary, where last month the government made the citizens an offer they could not refuse. They could either remit their individual retirement savings to the state, or lose the right to the basic state pension (but still have an obligation to pay contributions for it). In this extortionate way, the government wants to gain control over $14bn of individual retirement savings.

The article goes on to detail other pension grabs in Bulgaria, Poland, France and Ireland. Obviously, this is a cautionary tale for America. If fiscal austerity becomes a real issue in the U.S. the way that it's been reaching critical mass in Europe -- don't think that U.S. lawmakers regard your either your personal wealth or money they might owe you as sacrosanct. Government has a habit of looking out for itself.

So the spotlight has now shifted to a proposal by the star witness at the hearing, an econ professor at The New School in New York named Teresa Ghilarducci.

"She’s unveiled the plan in conjunction with the left-wing Economic Policy Institute; it’s available in .pdf form on EPI’s website. The gist of it is this:

"1) Wipe out the tax-deferral feature of 401(k)s because it’s mostly the 'wealthy' who enjoy that feature.

"2) Force everyone to contribute 5% of their income to a 'Guaranteed Retirement Account' (GRA) which invests entirely in government bonds and returns an inflation-adjusted 3% a year. Half of this 'contribution' would come from you, half from your employer. It would be on top of whatever you 'contribute' to Social Security. Democrats Demonstrate Once Again Why Voters Rebuffed Them

Democrats in Congress have now so polluted the tax extention compromise that Republicans should now vote against the deal made with Obama earlier this week.

By extending unemployment benefits another 13 months creating another welfare program and extending the "Obama tax cuts" which do nothing but re-distribute wealth to the lazy class in this country, the net effect to our economy will be to simply extend the economic misery of the last two years. Simply stated, all we're doing is prolonging the economic agony and uncertainty another two years until the next election cycle.

So here's my suggestion to the Republican Party, if they have the backbone to take it: vote NO on the Bush tax-cut extensions, and let the Democrats go down in flames in the waning days of this Congress. They're already in self-destruct mode, give them the rest of the rope they need to fully hang themselves.

In voting NO on the tax cut compromise, the message to the American people, and the Tea Party is simple: Democrats have once again demonstrated why they were voted out of power in the House, and their margins minimalized in the Senate. Democrats once again have polluted a piece of legislation designed to help the American people of all income levels in this time of economic distress by loading up the bill with pork and special spending for their political interests.

Rather than pass this piece of crap bill, Republicans should tell the American people that they will wait until the next Congress to pass a permanent, clean tax-bill that will benefit all Americans and small businesses. Then, walk off the podium and leave town until the next Congress.

The internal destruction of the Democrat party that would be sure to follow will cement in the voters minds for the next election just who was responsible for this mess, the Democrats. They've had the last two years with super-majorities in both houses to deal with this problem, to push it off to the lame duck session and try to blame Republicans for their own failure is laughable on its face, and transparent for all to see.

No doubt you’ve already heard about the woman who was a breast cancer survivor that was forced to remove her prosthetic breast in full public view during a TSA “screening” before she was permitted to board her flight.

You’ve likely already heard about the man who survived bladder cancer and has to wear a urostomy bag to collect his urine being searched by the TSA as well. Those TSA agents caused his urostomy bag to lose its seal spilling urine all over him before boarding his plane.

“If we all slugged the TSA after they sexually molested us, could they really arrest us all?”

Now comes the TSA strip-searching a little boy in front of his father.

Let me set this up for you: This young boy who’s face cannot be seen in this video, went through a metal detector and did not set it off but was selected by three TSA Agents for a pat down anyway.

This video begins as the TSA agents searching this young boy aren’t satisfied with the father holding the boy’s arms out for the TSA Agents to ‘pat him down’ and then instruct the father to remove the young boy’s shirt.

Three TSA agents are clearly seen staring at this little boy, naked from the waistline up – in public.

It’s been well documented that the TSA to this day has convicted child molesters and other criminal elements working within its ranks. I think we see three of them right here in this picture. Just look how they seemingly gawk at this poor young boy for several seconds before “permitting” him to get dressed again.

As we’ve seen incidents like this come to the public fore, a number of questions have come up in my mind, perhaps they have in yours as well, so allow me to verbalize them here.

If we all slugged the TSA after they sexually molested us, could they really arrest us all?

Why don’t we all demand to be patted down and bring the system to a halt?

Why don’t people start boo’ing, yelling, throwing things whenever a TSA thug starts patting someone down? Is there something wrong with voicing one’s displeasure and exercising our first amendment rights when the Government completely over-reaches its authority?

Why in the blue hell do we never see video’s of muslims, who are the real terrorists in this country being searched in this way?

Why is the TSA now talking about “religious exemptions” for muslims but not for anyone else?

What kind of “father” would put his young son (or daughter …) in this type of position to be publicly humiliated by a bunch of TSA child-molesting thugs and stand idly by while it happened? Or worse yet, aid the TSA in humiliating his son? What kind of man is this father anyway and what lesson did he just teach his son in submitting to the Government, when the Government is supposed to submit to us?

Feds To Pump Another $600 Billion Into Economy

The Fed’s decision yesterday to pump another $600 Billion dollars into the US Economy has sparked concerns world-wide about a U.S. initiated trade and currency war.

Countries such as China, Brazil and Germany yesterday openly criticized the Fed’s actions and are now preparing to defend their currencies against a currency war, or a “race to the bottom” to devalue currencies to protect their economies.

Make no mistake about it, a currency and trade war is about the last thing our economy needs right now. Bernanke must be nuts in his approach to appease the stock markets in an attempt to break the current deflationary cycle.

Bernanke is in uncharted waters here, doing something that’s never been done before. The risks here to our economy include hyper-inflation in commodity and food prices, which we’re already experiencing and a flight of capital out of the United States which means even slower job creation – something which we desperately need here in the United States.

If you’ve been paying attention to Oil and Food prices, you’d have noticed that Oil hit a six month high yesterday just above $86/barrel and core food prices have gone up 15% or more across the country. This type of inflation doesn’t bode well for the future of our economy, and those most likely to be hurt the most are going to be the working poor (the very people Obama purports to “help”) and those already caught in a credit squeeze due to falling home prices and being underwater in their current mortgages.

The Fed has “doubled down” on an approach that’s already proven not to work in QE-1 (Quantative Easing) and there’s little doubt that this approach is going to lead to a longer term economic disaster for the U.S.

Sure, the stock markets may be happy now with their ‘quarter to quarter’ mindset, but the damage that’s being done here and the debt we’re incurring is going to take decades to fix.

Forget the “lost decade” we may be talking about the “lost century” and the collapse of the U.S. Economic system.

Denies His Policies Were Responsible For Historic Democrat Losses

While the liberal lamestream media trips all over themselves in reporting Obama's "conciliatory" tone after the historic ass-whuppin' he and his party received Tuesday, what's gone largely un-reported is Obama's denial that his policies caused Democrats to lose their majority in the House by historic proportions, and enabled huge Republican gains in the Senate.

Demonstrating how out of touch he is with the American electorate, Obama declared that the American people do not want another two year fight about health care reform.

He's right. We don't want another two year fight on health care reform, or the "reforms" that he and the Democrats rammed down we the people's throats.

We want, no we demand an outright repeal of it!

It doesn't take much analysis of Tuesday's elections to see that each and every Democrat that was tossed in the House voted for Obamacare. Additionally, in response to the massive government spending that American's have been opposed to, each and every Democrat chair of a major house committee (and some in the Senate too!) lost their seats.

The message couldn't be more clear: American's want Obamacare repealed, massive government spending reigned in, and a focus on jobs, jobs, jobs.

Those Democrats that remain in our Congress and White House who continue to ignore the message that was so strongly sent at the ballot box on Tuesday do so at their own peril. I'd expect that those Democrats who are up in 2012 for re-election are going to abandon Obama for the next two years, effectively giving control of the Senate to the Republicans.

The race for 2012 is on.

Republican Tsunami Hi-Lites Democrat Epic Failure

There's much to take away from yesterday's historic election in addition to my absolute joy that Nancy Pelosi has been fired as Speaker of the House of Representatives, and Republican Mark Kirk won Obama's old Senate seat here in Illinois.

I've compiled my Top 14 reasons why the Democrats epic failure caused them to lose the House, and effective control of the Senate.

Democrats Believe:
1. Socialism works.
2. Big Government is good Government.
3. We should insure 30,000,000 illegal aliens and it won't cost anything.
4. It is racist to secure our borders.
5. Laws only apply to the other side, those whom they politically disagree with.
6. Federal Law trumps state law, even when state law merely seeks to enforcefederal law such as in Arizona, but not for "Sanctuary Cities" like Chicago or San Francisco.
7. Government needs to control every facet of our daily lives, telling us what to drive and eat.
8. America is fundamentally bad, and must apologize for past "wrongs."
9. Our Founding Fathers were bad.
10. Christian Holidays are bad, but pagan and muslim holidays must be celebrated.
11. We need to "give" our standard of living to the whole planet, even if it drives us broke.
12. We can solve all our problems by just printing more money.
13. We can spend our way out of Debt.
14. We can consume our way to prosperity.

D-Day: Stop Obama’s March to Socialism

A word to the Republican Party: Don’t mistake my vote as being pro Republican agenda. I reject big government spending from BOTH parties, and that includes the TARP spending started under the Bush Administration.

Rather, my vote today for Republican Candidates is nothing more than a complete, total repudiation of the Obama Administration’s policies designed to move America to a Socialist state.

I’m under absolutely no delusions that the Republican Party will undo anything that Obama has done. Face facts, the Republican’s won’t have a veto proof majority. They won’t be able to undo a single thing Obama has done.

The best we can hope for is GRIDLOCK, where Government does absolutely nothing for the next two years.

And that may have to be good enough.

Either way, I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore.

Victory must be secured today, Obama’s agenda must be stopped. Only then can the real battle begin.

New Obama Taxes Cut Pay, Increase Government “Revenue”

It's one thing when the wonks tell you to get ready for a tax hike that may or may not come. It's another when your employer tells you he's getting ready to cut your take-home pay and give it to the tax man.

That's what's happening right now, and those who still have jobs should take notice. If Congress fails to extend the Bush-era tax cuts due to expire Dec. 31, Americans at just about every income level will see their taxes rise — in some cases dramatically.

A story by Bloomberg News notes that it takes weeks for the IRS to prepare new withholding schedules. Normally, the tables are issued in mid-November to give employers time to prepare. But this year Congress left open the possibility it would do something about the expiring cuts, and employers have been left wondering what to do.

"I've been doing payroll for probably close to 30 years now, and never have we seen something like this where it gets that down to the wire," Dennis Danilewicz, the payroll manager at New York University's Langone Medical Center, told Bloomberg.

The Democrat-controlled Congress didn't address the issue before recessing for the midterm elections. So companies are preparing for the worst. A Bloomberg headline Wednesday said it all: "Employers in U.S. Start Bracing for Higher Tax Withholding."

The impact could be significant. Professor Michael Graetz of Columbia University recently estimated in the Wall Street Journal that letting the tax cuts expire will cost the U.S. economy $10 billion a month in added withholding from paychecks.

Goldman Sachs economist Alec Phillips estimates letting the Bush cuts expire could slash "nearly 10 percentage points" from disposable income growth in the first quarter of next year, and nearly two percentage points from GDP in the first half.

With GDP now at a tad above $14 trillion, the impact could be $280 billion or more in the first six months alone.

In short, the higher taxes could very well push us back into recession — at a time when the economy is struggling under 9.6% unemployment with little if any private-sector job growth.

What's most worrisome is what it will do to the working taxpayer. His or her take-home pay is about to fall, leaving noticeably less to spend and save.

A married couple without children and an annual income of $80,000 would have an added $221 taken from their paycheck every two weeks, the Bloomberg report says, quoting the H&R Block Tax Institute. That jumps to $558 (every two weeks) for couples bringing in $240,000.

Data from the Tax Policy Center show even those with modest family incomes would take a hit. For example, a couple with income of $60,000 and four children can expect to pay $130 more every two weeks to Uncle Sam. It doesn't get much better for those who make just $40,000. They'll find about $108 more withheld every other week.

This will have a serious impact on our struggling economy at a time when we can least afford it. It may be a big reason why, in poll after poll, Americans have expressed increased disgust with the Democrat-led Congress. Our own polling shows that 80% of Americans want the tax cuts made permanent or extended at least until the economy recovers. And this includes 74% of Democrats.

Congressional Democrats, however, seem incapable of grasping the damage they've done with their trillions in new spending and debt in the name of "stimulus," while refusing to halt what amounts to the largest tax hike in history.

Fortuitously, the names of most of them will appear on Tuesday's ballots.

CBS’ 60 Minutes: Unemployment 17.5%

Has The Liberal Lamestream Media Finally Turned on Obama?

This evening on CBS’ 60 Minutes, the lid was finally blown off the real unemployment numbers in this country by at least one of the four members of the Government’s Fifth Column – the lamestream media.

Real Unemployment in this country is actually at 17.5% according to CBS’ 60 Minutes program. In their report, they showed people with Bachelors, Masters and PHD’s that have been unemployed in this country for two years and longer.

Some were living on friends couches. Others were living in cars (either their own or ones that had been abandoned) and office buildings that were now empty but once bustled with activity.

CBS had the audacity to show this with 9 days to go before the mid-term elections, which are already promising a historic revolution in the House and Senate by the voters.

“Recovery Summer” has proven to be anything but, with more than 700,000 American’s losing their jobs between May and September. Families are being financially devastated, and some fear they’ll never be able to retire.

Folks, the sad reality is this: We are in Great Depression territory with high unemployment that shows no signs of abating. If this is the “new economy” then it’s time for the revolution at the ballot box and throw every single politician that voted for ObamaCare, TARP, “Stimulus” spending and more right out of office on their sorry asses.

Remember on November 2nd. These people are counting on us.

During an interview with the The New York Times earlier this week, Obama finally admitted he lied when he told the American people earlier this year that the Economic “Stimulus” would be used to pay for “shovel ready jobs.”

A Government Report by the Chief Medicare Actuary Richard S. Foster showed that after a detailed, rigorous analysis of ObamaCare, health care costs would actually RISE, and that projected Government spending on Health Care would be $311 BILLION more than previously projected and passed by the ObamaCare legislation.

Yes, that’s right – the Obama Administration LIED, deliberately misleading the public on the true cost of ObamaCare. As we now know, the true cost of the bill is far north of the $1 Trillion cost estimated and is nearing $1.5 TRILLION as more detailed estimates come in.

Obama Continues To Spend Money We Do Not Have

In yet another SOP to the Government and Private sector Unions that helped him fraudulently win office, Obama just spent another $55 BILLION dollars in Union bailouts for transportation infrastructure “shovel ready” jobs. Oops, there’s that “shovel ready” term again.

Obama Justice Department Led By Eric Holder Announces Plea Deal in Guantanamo Case

In what can only be an insult to those who serve honorably in our Military, the Justice Department announced a plea deal to keep a Canadian born muslim terrorist that was captured in Afghanistan after a brutal firefight in Guantanamo for another 8 years.

The Al-Qaeda terrorist, Canadian born Omar Khadr could be free as soon as 2018 as his lawyers continue to negotiate with the Obama Administration’s Justice Department.

"Knowing the facts of the case, I would think your average American would be disappointed that somebody who had demonstrated the capacity and the willingness to kill American soldiers would get a mere eight years," he said in a phone interview. "That seems short to me."

Morris was blinded in his right eye during the assault on the militant stronghold in which Speer was killed. He said he doesn't seek a longer sentence out of vengeance but for the sake of his comrade's family and because he believes Khadr, now 24, remains a danger to the U.S. It wouldn't matter to him whether Khadr serves prison time in Guantanamo, Canada or somewhere in the U.S.

Frankly speaking here, none of these terrorists should be in Guantanamo today. The should’ve all been shot and left for dead on the battlefield. At least that way, none of this anti-Military bullshit would be happening today. It’s patently absurd and un-American to allow terrorists to go free period after acting as enemy combatants and terrorists against the United States of America an our honorable Military.

Says Chamber of Commerce Threat to Democracy

Seems to me the biggest threat to America’s Democracy happens to be sitting in the Oval Office.

“This is a threat to our democracy…And if we just stand by and allow the special interests to silence anybody who’s got the guts to stand up to them, our country’s going to be a very different place.”

That’s what the President just said about the Chamber of Commerce, a right-wing group spending $75 million to beat Democrats this fall, and reportedly taking money from foreign corporations — some even owned by foreign governments.

These groups are trying to buy our elections, backing candidates who want to tear down everything that makes the middle class strong in this country: things like Medicare, Social Security, even the minimum wage.

“Reportedly” taking money from foreign corporations? “Some” owned by foreign governments?

Well Mr. pResident, what about the millions of dollars you took from BP – remember them, British Petroleum? (Oh yes, they renamed themselves “Beyond Petroleum” but the fact remains, they’re held by the British Government!)

Democrats Plan Final Legislative Assault on America

Lame Duck Session To Be Anything But

If we thought that simply winning in November and taking back both houses of Congress was going to stop the race towards Socialism, we’d best think again.

The Democrat-Socialist led Congress is quietly planning its final legislative assault on our freedoms, one last power grab by the Federal Government to control more of our daily lives.

More Nanny State Government. Former Illinois Republican Congressman, now Obama Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood wants to ban all cellphone usage – even hands-free. To implement this ‘ban’, LaHood wants to require all car manufacturers to somehow detect when a driver is “distracted.” LaHood also wants a ban on all hands-free communications technologies such as Ford’s “SYNC” which attracts younger buyers to its brand.

LaHood may not get his ban legislatively, but via Executive Fiat from the Obama Administration? Remember stroke of the pen, law of the land. Kinda cool ain’t it? Watch for Obama to implement Clinton’s strategy of issuing one Executive Order after another here.

More Taxes. Now that the EU has extorted the major airlines into paying a Carbon Tax to land in the Euro-Zone to fight “climate change” look for the United States to do the same thing. Foreign airlines were threatened with flight restrictions and landing bans beginning in 2012 in the Europen Union if they did not “participate” in carbon emissions trading, or what’s commonly known to us in the United States as higher government taxes. As we know, all costs of doing business are ultimately passed onto the end consumer, in this case the vacationer or business traveler. Should the United States implement such a scheme, it would decimate the Airlines industry here. As the law in the EU stands today, look for major airlines to dramatically hike their rates to fly to the Euro-Zone, or limit flights altogether. American ingenuity being what it is, I suspect WebEx is going to get alot more use for business meetings between companies in the U.S. and EU and vacations to the EU will be cancelled to avoid the increased prices and taxes altogether.

Remember, if you want less of something, tax it more. That’s precisely what the EU and soon the United States government are doing.

Forget The Bush Tax Cuts. Even if they are extended, it’ll likely be only for those making less than $250k/year and is still going to kill small businesses.

Now here’s the part no one’s talking about: If you think the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts for those making under $250k are true tax cuts, think again. Obama’s already effectively eliminated any relief they’d provide via new payroll taxes on your health care plan, capping flexible spending accounts at $2,500 per year (which impacts those with chronic illnesses and “special needs kids” the hardest), new taxes on medical devices that cost over $100, raised the deduction for itemized medical expenses to 10% of gross income from 7.5%, a special “Blue Cross/Shield” tax which will cause rates for BC/BS customers to skyrocket, new taxes on Charitable Hospitals, new taxes on Drug Companies that invent new medications, the elimination of the tax deduction for employer-provided retirement drug coverage (which screws Medicare Part D participants) and a new ten billion dollar tax on all Health Insurance providers, which will again cause rates to go up for consumers.

Forced Unionization. Senator Tom Harkin (D. Iowa) has developed a strategy to pass the individual components of the Card Check Bill, rather than the entire bill itself, as a way to slip the bill through the Senate virtually unnoticed.

Under the proposed Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), if the NLRB verifies that over 50% of the employees signed authorization cards, the secret ballot election is bypassed and a union is automatically formed.

The fact is, the Employee Free Choice Act is anything but. It does the precise opposite by removing the one freedom those about to be “organized” against their will had to stop the process – a secret ballot. Eliminating the secret ballot means that union “organizers” (I prefer the name thugs) will be able to actively target those who are against the union and either bully them into submission or out of a job. Last I looked, that is not the American way.

The message here should be clear: it’s not enough to vote November 2nd and throw the Socialist bastards out of office. There needs to be an intense scrutiny and spotlight on the Lame Duck Congress to prevent them from doing further damage to America.

I don’t know about you, but after the revolution at the Ballot Box, I’m preparing for the Second American Revolution that’s sure to come if these desperate Democrat-Socialists in their last ditch attempt to destroy America vote on anything after the election.

Obama Lied: HealthCare To Cost More

Amongst all the bad news that came out today including another 93,000 people who lost their jobs in September and the unemployment rate creeping up, employers such as Microsoft are announcing that they are no longer paying 100% for their employee’s medical insurance coverage.

What does this mean? It means health care costs are going UP, which is contradictory to what Obama and the Pelosi-Reid Democrats said would happen.

It doesn’t stop at Microsoft, McDonalds announced similar moves earlier this week, and my own employer is also following suit requiring employees to pay MORE towards their health care insurance.

Further compounding the cost increases in health care premiums employees of all companies will have their pre-tax dollars directed towards their medical care via “medical savings accounts” capped at $2,500 per year, per family. Previously these accounts were uncapped allowing people such as myself with a pre-existing condition to plan for our health care using pre-tax dollars while reducing our medical costs and tax burdens.

Obamacare changed all that. The new $2,500 cap takes effect in 2011 which for people like me means we now have to pay taxes on the dollars we use for our medications above the $2,500 cap and also suffer the indignity of paying additional taxes on our health care plans which will be counted as “income” under Obamacare. Talk about being taxed TO DEATH!

Remember in November folks, the Democrats did all this on their own – and it’s time to toss every single politician that voted for ObamaCare right out of office, onto the streets.

Even with our stubbornly high unemployment rate, I’d be more than happy to see a bunch of no good politicians that refused to listen to the will of the people out of work!

Today in New Mexico at a “campaign style” stop, an average every day citizen (now we’re citizens!) asked Obama why he called himself a Christian.

The question is important since a majority of American’s believe Obama is in fact a Muslim. (If it walks like a duck ….)

Is Obama a Christian? In his own words:

"And I think also understanding that, you know, that Jesus Christ dying for my sins spoke to the humility we all have to have as human beings -- that we're sinful and we're flawed and we make mistakes, and that we ... achieve salvation through the grace of God."

This answer is markedly different from his previous answers on this topic in a very important way and I wonder just who in the lamestream media has caught onto the difference. It certainly jumped off the television screen at me.

Previously, Obama has said that his salvation is only possible through collective salvation, which is an anti-God, Marxist, utopian precept contained in Black Liberation theology, as taught to Obama by Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United “Church of Christ”, of which Obama was a member for 22 years.

Clearly Obama is tailoring his remarks on his “faith” to mirror that of more mainstream Christians in an effort to win votes this election and allay fears that he is in fact, a closet muslim.

There’s no running from the fact that Obama is practicing Black Liberation Theology as an occupant of the White House and through legislation, policy and executive order, he seeks to “liberate” those he views as oppressed by the economy or our political system.

Obama is no more a Christian than Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.

Now that Jeff Zucker (left)is out at NBC and Jon Klein is out at CNN will some semblance of sanity and actual news reporting return to the two networks?

Just this evening on CNN, which I watched for the first time in more than a year, there seemed to be more of an “effort” at “fair and balanced” reporting. Why, CNN was actually critical of Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrat dominated Congress’ inability to extend the “Bush Tax Cuts.”

Did my ears deceive me? CNN actually critical of the chosen one?

So I skipped over to NBC only to hear the same old spin which shouldn’t have been surprising given Jeffrey Immelt’s slobbering love affair with the Obama Administration. Take heart though, ComCRAP will be taking over NBC soon and they’ll bring in their own management team to run the network and the news team.

One thing’s for sure about ComCRAP: They love making money, and one look at a news organization that’s in bed with the Obama Administration and hemmoraging money at the same time will surely bring a house-cleaning. The only question is, will that house-cleaning mean a more “fair and balanced” type of newscast?

The only thing better than seeing the Obama administration crash and burn lately is the carnage happening in the lamestream media. Slowly but surely they’re figuring out that they too have to make money to stay in business, and you can’t do that by putting out a pro White House propaganda newscast every night, especially when an informed, intelligent public knows the media’s lying – and has been for a very long time – to protect this pResident.

Surely it can’t be long until ABC and CBS clean-house as well. I can’t wait to see Katie Couric mount her broomstick and ride off into the sunset myself.

The Democrats are either completely blind to the carnage they’re about to experience within their own party come November 2nd, or they’re truly just hell bent on punishing the American electorate and businesses in this country by refusing to extend the Bush Tax Cuts before the November 2nd elections.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid may be in complete denial, but there’s at least 31 House Democrats that signed petitions to extend the Bush Tax Cuts before the upcoming election. Maybe those Democrats did it to try and save their own asses. Maybe they finally had enough with Pelosi/Reid leading the Democrat party like a bunch of lemmings over a cliff. Or maybe they finally woke up and decided to do the right thing for the country.

Whichever the case, it doesn’t matter now. Not voting to extend the Bush Tax Cuts is just another nail in the Democrats coffins come November 2nd.

Hope they enjoyed Colbert’s “performance” in Congress today. While American’s are out of work, or Congress is being “Entertained” by a jackass from Comedy Central.

Anemic “Growth”, Persistent Unemployment Say Otherwise

In an economic report sponsored by the U.S. Government, Economists report that the Greatest Recession since the Great Depression ended in June of 2009.

Do they really think we’re that stupid?

June of 2009 is the same month the economy hemmoraged nearly 500,000 jobs and the Obama Administration seized control General Motors, adding it to the list of industries they were seeking to control (Cars, Banking, Wall Street & Health Care.)

With nearly half the U.S. economy under direct control of the Obama Administration, do these so-called “Economists” who happened to write an economic report sponsored (read that: paid for) by the U.S. Government really expect us to believe this crap?

Today, September 23rd new first-time requests for unemployment checks reached an all-time high of 425,000 according to U.S. Department of Labor statistics. Last week, there were some 410,000 new, first-time claims. In just two weeks that’s 835,000 people who’ve lost their jobs and are applying for unemployment checks.

Yet, the economy is “growing” and the Greatest Recession since the Great Depression has been over for more than a year.

Oh really?

A recession is traditionally defined as two or more consecutive quarters of economic contraction and a reduction in GDP as measured by factory output.

During recessions, GDP, employment, investment spending, capacity utilization, household incomes, business profits and inflation all fall while unemployment and bankruptcies rise.

A recession is declared to be over when there are two or more consecutive quarters of economic growth as defined by GDP, shrinking unemployment, rising household and business incomes, growth in prices (inflation) and falling bankruptcies.

Given these traditional definitions of what a recession is and when it is declared over, where is the U.S. Economy?

You can damn’ sure bet it’s not in “growth” mode as the only reason most companies are posting profits are due to massive layoff’s that have been, and continue to occur over the last 20-24 months.

The Obama Administration can spin the numbers any way they want, the truth is we are still in the Greatest Recession since the Great Depression.

Debbie Halvorson is a first term Democrat Congresswoman from Illinois 11th Congressional District and she’s struggling to keep her seat.

Her poll numbers have fallen so far, so fast that she’s been slinging the word “Nazi” around to describe her opponent, Repulican Adam Kinzinger.

Kinzinger for his part is a decorated war veteran of the Iraq war with an honorable service record, and he’s endorsed by the Illinois Tea Party and leads in the local polls 45% – 35% with 13% undecided.

Civil Rights For Peaceful Assembly, Free Speech Trampled

Here’s a story that’s getting zero media play outside the immediate Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.

Tea Party activist Gene Stilp was put on a terrorist watch list after attending a Tea Party event with a 25 foot inflatable pig.

That’s right: an inflatable pig.

Stilp was protesting excessive government spending using the inflatable pig at a Tea Party event when he was detained by a private security company contracted by the Pennsylvania State Homeland Security office.

The company, named “Institute of Terrorism Research and Response” has had numerous complaints filed against it for taking people’s names at various events and adding them to terrorist watch lists, and in one case compiling the names of opponents of shale gas drilling and selling them to a natural gas company.

An activist who believes he was improperly included on a state terror threat list said this morning he is preparing a federal lawsuit.

"When people's civil rights are trampled it's a federal issue," said Gene Stilp of Harrisburg, who holds a Virginia law license but does not practice as an attorney.

Gov. Ed Rendell, speaking Downtown this morning, said he does not believe activists' Constitutional rights were violated.

The statement was a reversal from what he said yesterday. Asked in Harrisburg on Tuesday whether monitoring activists was "tantamount to trampling" on their Constitutional rights, he said: "I would say so."

Rendell said he is "deeply embarrassed" by the disclosure that state Homeland Security officials included information about protesters on what was supposed to be a list of possible terrorist threats.

"Being embarrassed doesn't cut it," Stilp said.

The list, which included information on public hearings that opponents of Marcellus gas drilling might attend, was sent to drilling companies.

Stilp said he believes he was among those monitored, based on Rendell's comment that a 25-foot inflatable "pink pig" Stilp takes to rallies was included in the monitoring.

"The pig! They were after the pig," Rendell said Tuesday. "That pig is what makes Harrisburg a very special place."

Stilp owns the pig and frequently displays it at the Capitol at protests over what he sees as government excesses.

Stilp said an outside investigation is warranted, by the attorney general or federal authorities.

The state paid a Philadelphia-based nonprofit $125,000 to compile the list as part of the state Homeland Security's federally mandated mission to protect public infrastructure.

The list included a Washington County meeting that Rendell attended to discuss Marcellus shale gas drilling, a screening of a documentary on the industry, a rally supporting Rendell's education budget and anti-tax protesters who took an inflatable pig to Harrisburg.

Homeland Security officials distributed the list in a security bulletin to government and law enforcement officials — including Pittsburgh City Council members — as well as universities and gas drilling companies.

City Councilman Doug Shields said he was "flabbergasted" about the bulletin he received by e-mail last week.

"The governor was outraged. I'm outraged. I'm glad this was put an end to, but we will be seeking answers. ... There will be requests of information from the state government for an explanation of who these people are, who made the decision to essentially engage in espionage and who is behind it."

Shields said he wants to see the financial statements of York-based Institute Of Terrorism Research And Response, a registered nonprofit, according to state records.

"Am I on a list somwehere? Am I on someone's dossier?" Shields said.

"If there's a list I hope we're all on it," said Councilwoman Theresa Smith.

Rendell said he "should have been notified" about the contract, but that it didn't warrant firing Homeland Security director James Powers. It was a "cumulative responsibility" and it would do no good to "make him a scapegoat," Rendell said.

The state will not renew its one-year contract with the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response when it expires in October, Rendell said.

The nonprofit, which has offices in Washington and Jerusalem, provides "actionable intelligence briefings" and "threat and hazard monitoring," among other services, according to its website.

"We maintain confidentiality with our clients, and we respect that confidentiality," said Mike Perelman, co-director of the institute.

The gas industry has to know of physical threats to its workers and equipment, but it supports people's right to discuss the issues, said Kathryn Klaber, president of the Marcellus Shale Coalition, an industry trade group in Cecil.

"Where we have to be vigilant, I believe, is ... if infrastructure is being targeted and the safety of employees and the communities we operate in are at risk," Klaber said.

Drilling industry opponents said they pose no danger. Barbara Pribila, 45, a founder of the anti-drilling Lincoln Place Action Group, said she never considered herself a rebel — and certainly not a threat to homeland security.

"I thought this was a free country and I was allowed to have my own opinion," Pribila said. "Now what, you're going to watch me and every move I make? That's not right."

Childhood Poverty Rates Reach Rates Not Seen in 30 Years

Childhood poverty levels in the United States are expected to reach levels they have not seen in almost 30 years.

Approximately 21% of children (15.6 million) are living in poverty this year according to Census Bureau information recently released.

Of those children, roughly 50% will be living in “extreme poverty” defined as 50% below the poverty line for income.

Since Obama took office in January 2009, the poverty rate jumped from 12.5% at the end of 2008 to 15.1% as of August, 2010. That is the largest increase in almost 30 years under a single President.

The government defines poverty as a family of four with an annual income of less than $22,025.

The poverty rate for whites rose to 8.6 percent, up from 8.2 percent. For Hispanics, the rate rose to 23.2 percent from 21.5 percent and for Blacks the rate remained unchanged at …. 24.7 percent.

What’s driving poverty rates sky high? Eight million jobs lost since the Great Recession started in 2007 under the Democrat Controlled Congress and their anti-business, high-tax policies.

Surely the only legitimate conclusion we can draw from these important statistics is that Obama’s economic plan is working! More people are becoming dependent on the Government for their daily sustinence, which translates into more Democrat party voters!

Yes folks, the “transformation” into Obama’s vision for America is well under way. Obama has forced more American’s into poverty in his first two years in office than any other President in U.S. history through his anti-business, trickle-down poverty policies.

Remembering Those Lost On September 11th, 2001

As American's, we must never forget the Muslim Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. To do so would diminish the distinctly human value of the lives lost on that day, and I believe in my heart of hearts that America is a bigger country than that.

Whatever problems besiege us today, we simply must remember what happened that day and put it in its proper context. To fail to do so would mean the lives lost on that day were in vain, and history would be doomed to repeat itself. We must honor our sacred responsibility as American's to never allow that to happen.

On that tragic day, we were attacked by Muslim Islamic Fundamentalists who seek to destroy us, our culture and our way of life. They seek to impose their will on us, by force. These same Muslim Islamic Fundamentalists today pose as "moderate" Muslims and use our laws against us in our own country in their attempts to impose their will upon us by force of threat. I speak of the "mosque" at Ground Zero.

What is lost on our "politicians" and the liberal lamestream media is the fact that where ever muslims believe they have won a 'war' in a foreign land they build a mosque. It's their victory flag in America that they seek to plant. We must never allow that to happen and we must hold those 'politicians' and other government bureaucrats that seek to allow it to happen accountable by voting them out office.

Worldwide, muslims are "offended" that we as American's are speaking out against this 'mosque' at Ground Zero. Speaking out against a wrong is our God given American right and we will exercise it vigorously. Just as so-called 'moderate' muslims claim they have a 'right' to build a mosque at ground zero, we American's have a right given by God and our United States Constitution to speak out against this abomination of a 'mosque' on what we consider to be sacred ground.

Frankly, I'm offended that our 'politicians' seemingly give preferential treatment to a religion that stones a woman to death after she has been raped. Why should I care about offending such a backwards 7th century 'religion' that stones the victim of a crime to death while allowing her rapist to go free?

Similarly, I'm offended by a 'pastor' that calls himself a "Christian" who acts so provocatively to draw attention to himself by promoting the burning of the book of another 'religion.' What purpose does this serve? Is this what Jesus would do?

And why is the liberal lamestream media focusing on the irresponsible actions of a so-called 'pastor' and not paying any attention to the actions of muslims world-wide that have been burning Christian Bibles, beheading non-muslims and recently burning and trampling on the American flag? Could it be because it doesn't suit their Christian hating liberal agenda?

All these things have cluttered my mind the last few days, and as today approached I realized I was beginning to lose sight of what happened that day, September 11th, 2001. All these things from the 'mosque' at ground zero, quran burnings in Florida and flag burning in Afghanistan are distractions designed to take away from the meaning of today and I've decided I'll have none of it.

So today I ask you to join me in putting all these things aside for today, and focus on the events of that day. For me that means putting up my flag at the break of dawn, a day of prayer, and tearfully acknowledging the lives lost that day.

Those who fail to remember history are doomed to repeat it.

There can no longer be any doubt that Barack Hussein Obama has in effect “doubled down” on what we all now know as a failed Keynesian economic policy.

Throwing another $50,000,000,000 onto the debt and deficit, Obama rewards his most staunch supporters – Unions – with a blatant payout before the mid-term elections.

Of course none of these road or bridge projects will actually begin before the mid-term elections but that’s not the point anyway. The point is that Obama needs his core support – Unions – to turn out en masse on voting day and he’s paying them to do it with our hard earned tax dollars.

Blaming the problem on Republican’s doesn’t wash with the American public anymore – the Democrats have controlled spending since 2006 and the tripling of our deficit and additional $4 Trillion in debt can be demonstrably laid at their doorstep.

For all the Democrats protestations that George W. Bush “ran the economy into the ditch”, the reality is during the Bush years we enjoyed a historic low 4.5% unemployment rate. In 20 short months as President, Obama and the Democrats have more than doubled the unemployment rate sending millions of Americans out of work.

Millions more will lose their jobs before this, the worst Presidency in history is over, just over two very long years from now.

We do however have something to be thankful for, and that’s Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats are about to lose Congress for a generation, which hopefully should be enough time to clean this mess up.

Everytime this yammering idiot that occupies our White House opens his mouth, his “approval” ratings fall, and fall they will continue to do.

This coming Wednesday, Obama will take to the public airwaves once again and state he’s focusing on the economy and job creation.

Haven’t we heard this before? Yes, earlier year Obama said he was going to focus on jobs, but instead he and the Democrat dominated Congress passed a health care reform package that no one wanted as evidenced by all the State lawsuits seeking to block its implementation and the Democrat’s stunning drop in the political polls.

Then again this summer Obama said he was going to focus on jobs, but instead he and the Democrat dominated Congress passed a “Banking and Wall Street Reform” law that no one wanted because we all recognized it would cost banking customers in the end. Yet, the Democrats did it anyway.

As Obama took office in January last year, he said he was going to focus on jobs and passed an “economic stimulus” package that ended up costing more than $1.3 Trillion dollars all the while unemployment kept rising and rising.

So what does Obama mean when he says he’s going to “focus on jobs?” Based on his past track record it can mean only one thing: Obama is focused on destroying jobs in this country creating a larger dependent class on the Government. This is Obama’s “transformation” of America.

When Obama takes to the airwaves on Wednesday, any attempts to push through a new “stimulus” package that includes a single tax cut will be a patent admission that his “economic plans” to date have been an abysmal failure.

But then, as evidenced by the polls and the increasing rift in the Democrat party, most American’s already know this now don’t we?

Cadillac Escalade SUV Went Missing During Green Jobs Summit

You read that right: While attending a “green jobs summit” in Detroit, Michigan the “Reverend” Jesse Jackson’s Cadillac Escalade SUV was stolen and stripped.

To make matters worse, Jackson’s gas guzzling SUV was stolen after Detroit Mayor Dave Bing’s GMC Yukon Denali was hijacked and stripped by criminals earlier the same week.

There’s just so much hypocrisy in all this that makes me laugh out loud it’s almost not funny.

Let’s start with the fact that Jesse Jackson who’s never held a real job in his life gets his money from those who can least afford it – the poor and downtrodden. Jackson takes their money and buys himself $1,000 Armani suits and a Cadillac Escalade SUV. Hypocrisy #1 – Representing the ‘poor’ by spending their money on luxury items for himself.

The same SUV which gets about 15mpg on the highway was driven 300 miles from Chicago to Detroit to attend a “Jobs, Justice, and Peace” march promoting government-funded green jobs. Hypocrisy #2, driving one of the worst gas guzzling SUV’s 300 miles to attend a “green jobs” march. Hypocrisy #2.

All the time while preaching to American’s that we need to “cut back” and live “greener lives” by cramming our families into Toyota Prius’ and using compact florescent bulbs to “save the planet” while he himself continues to live high on the hog, at other people’s expense.

That’s hypocrisy #3, all of which just makes me laugh out loud at the complete bozo’s that continue to support Jesse Jackson.

The really sad thing for me is that so many people just stood around and did nothing to help this disabled vet and that includes that state trooper. It's time to give up the ruse that we the people are free.

Teachers Ignore Job Openings

Unions Secure Lifetime Salaries Without Work for NY Teachers

It may surprise you to learn that teachers laid off in New York City earlier this year have chosen not to apply for another job in the NYC school system, or anyplace else for that matter according to the Department of Education.

Why is that?

Well, New York City is the only city in the country were teachers are guaranteed pay for life even if their school closes, they are laid off, or lose their job permanently.

These teachers go into what the Department of Education calls the “Absent Teacher Reserve Pool” where they can be called up to work in schools as substitute teachers or to do other jobs.

The problem is the Teachers aren’t required to show up.

The average teacher in the "Absent Teacher Reserve Pool” makes $82,000 per year with some making more than $100,000 – all on the taxpayers dime.

The ATR Pool costs New York City taxpayers more than $100 million dollars a year in full-time salaries and benefits for Teachers who’ve been laid off and now refuse to work.

Welcome to Obama’s America, folks! If the Unions have their way, all of us in the Private Sector will be paying them to sit home on their lazy asses, doing nothing. And you best not complain about it lest you be branded a racist or bigot.

The entire Iraq War cost less than the Federal Deficits of 2003 – 2006, and 2008 – 2010. In fact, the entire war in Iraq cost less than Obama’s “Economic Stimulus” wild-assed spending of 2008.

The problem with our economy is plain as day for all to see. It’s not Government “revenues” that are the problem (ie: us not paying enough taxes) the problem is this Government spends too damn’ much of our money!

Administration halts prosecution of USS Cole bomber

The Obama administration has shelved the planned prosecution of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged coordinator of the Oct. 2000 suicide attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, according to a court filing.

The decision at least temporarily scuttles what was supposed to be the signature trial of a major al-Qaeda figure under a reformed system of military commissions. And it comes practically on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the attack, which killed 17 sailors and wounded dozens when a boat packed with explosives ripped a hole in the side of the warship in the port of Aden.

In a filing this week in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Justice Department said that "no charges are either pending or contemplated with respect to al-Nashiri in the near future."

The statement, tucked into a motion to dismiss a petition by Nashiri's attorneys, suggests that the prospect of further military trials for detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has all but ground to a halt, much as the administration's plan to try the accused plotters of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in federal court has stalled.
